It’s very rare that you will see me in statement jewelry. Think about it, when you read these blog posts you probably don’t notice the jewelry first. That’s because I stick to my daily investment pieces and only occasionally feature a jewelry brand. Last week I mentioned that I discovered a unique Italian jewelry brand while attending the JCK Events Las Vegas Jewelry Show. Let me introduce you to AMLE.
The Italians have a flare for all things beautiful and this brand is no exception. I literally stopped in my tracks when I passed their booth at the JCK Events. I met Daniela Altobelli, the gorgeous US sales rep who lives in L.A. as well as the uber charming Marco Ferra. He lives in Italy and travels the world styling Amle. There is something about his cool vibe and sexy Italian accent that will make you melt.
The story of Amlè, jewelry from Campania (the Italian district that houses Naples, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast), starts from Santa Maria Capua Vetere, in the province of Caserta. The jewelry is all made in Italy and was started by Marisa Angelucci. She began with an antique shop and she is dedicated to the creation of artisanal jewels of great taste. Today hand-painted miniature tambourines, terracotta heads, waxed fruit, ex voto obtained from authentic Bourbon molds, all hand-trimmed, enrich creations combined with raw Mediterranean corals, baroque pearls and semi-precious stones to ensure that every piece is a work of art!
The jewelry is styled in many high fashion editorial shoots and you have probably seen it but not realized what it was. Just check out their website and perused their collections and you will instantly see what I mean. They styled the pieces I have on above on me once I showed them the dress I was wearing to a cocktail party.
Amle is sold at fine retailers and trunk shows. Do you love it? xoxo – Tanya

I love the straw clutch with the pom poms:)
I love it. For the readers I’m sure they have smaller scale pieces too.
I remember seeing whimsical jewelry like this is Sorrento, Capri, and Positano. The jewelry link necklaces are striking. I also remember seeing Italian women wearing very simple jeans and t shirts wearing statement jewelry like those links some looped thru their jean loops or a scarf and those gorgeous jeweled Capri sandals very simple bag.
Bella!
This jewelry is so much fun and elegant at the same time. I would love to see some of the jewelry in person to see the different materials used in making these beautiful pieces. I would definitely wear a statement piece like these. Not all the time, but on special occasions to bring out a special outfit.
