Let’s talk about a classic color combo for fall. Black is obviously a very classic color for fall and winter, but I want to focus on incorporating that classic color with a super chic fall color trend…olive green. It’s a beautiful color and mixes well with other fall colors like black, brown, and creamy ivory. Plus, it’s a great transitional color. Let’s take a look!

Green is a color trend we’ll be seeing all season long, so now is the time to get your staple green pieces. A dress is a great piece to wear in order to incorporate a new color. This cotton puff sleeve dress is so cute and the perfect everyday dress. If you’re looking for something warmer, then this cable knit sweater dress is a must. It’s a gorgeous olive color and can be worn not only in the fall, but also into winter. You can also opt for a black dress with olive green accessories. This black long sleeve mini dress is beyond chic. Pair it with olive green pumps for a pop of fall tones.

Now, you may want to have some black and olive green separates so you can mix and match. These olive high waisted trousers and these olive wide leg jeans are both perfect for fall. Pair your green pants with a gorgeous black top like this flutter sleeve sweater or a chic black jacket like this cropped lady jacket. You can also pull of a monochromatic look by pairing olive pants with this star sweater or this olive button up shirt. Complete your look with black slingback heels or black suede high heels, a black tote bag and black designer sunglasses.

Another option is to use olive green as an accent color. Some of my favorite green accessories includes these green and gold huggie earrings and this leather tote bag.
