Is it just me or have you felt the weather to be fall (ish) recently? Between grocery stores being filled with pumpkin spice items and the slow drop in temperatures, it gets me inspired to decorate for fall. Today, I’m sharing some fall home decor inspiration. Find pieces you can add to your home for fall, including items for Halloween and Thanksgiving. These pieces are tasteful and don’t detract from your usual home decor.

I know some people who love decorating for each individual holiday and others who like to decorate for the season as a whole. What do you do? I love to decorate for fall and then add some touches for Halloween and Thanksgiving. And right after that, I do major decorating for the Christmas holiday season. But I operate by the “one holiday at a time” rule.
If you’re looking for general fall home decor, I recommend adding some subtle pieces to your decor. A throw blanket is a perfect option. This orange throw blanket is cashmere soft and a great neutral for fall. It comes in seven colors if orange is not your thing. Another easy way to add some fall into your home is with pillows. This raffia pillow is great for adding texture. I also adore these plush pumpkin pillows.
Speaking of pumpkins, you can’t have fall decor without pumpkins, and this MacKenzie-Childs ivory jewel pumpkin is perfect and classy. I also love this pumpkin dishtowel. For your table, add these gourd salt and pepper shakers. Now all you need is this cute fall mug!
If you’re entertaining during the fall season, you definitely need to set the tone by decorating your front door. I love this thankful doormat and this beautiful autumn wreath. It will give your guests all the fall vibes. Also, you want them to smell fall as soon as they walk through the door. This spiced pumpkin scented candle is perfect for setting the mood. I also suggest this pumpkin spiced hand soap and lotion for the bathroom or kitchen.

I just decorate for fall and Thanksgiving with very little for Halloween, kind of over Halloween now that my kids are grown! Great tips, thanks for sharing! I think I will go pull out my fall décor!
I only do fall these days with a teeny bit of Halloween sprinkled in. I can finally put it out – it has been so hot I have not felt in the mood to decorate!
I love those glass pumpkins from Pottery Barn! The black and white checkered pumpkins are cute too!
I usually decorate for fall although I put pumpkins on the porch for Halloween and hope they last through Thanksgiving. I’m like you, I decorate one holiday at a time. Thanks for all the recommendations. I just might have to get me something new this year.
I gave all of my great Halloween decorations to my niece last year and she loves them as much as I did!
