Is it just me or have you felt the weather to be fall(ish) recently? Between grocery stores being filled with pumpkins, pumpkin spice items and the slow drop in temperatures, it gets me inspired to decorate for fall. This is why today I’m sharing some fall home decor inspiration. Find pieces you can add to your home for fall, including items for Halloween and Thanksgiving. These pieces are tasteful and don’t detract from your usual home decor. I know some people who love decorating for each individual holiday and others who like to decorate for the season as a whole. What do you do? I love to decorate for fall and then add some touches for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Right after that, I do major decorating for the Christmas holiday season. But overall I operate by the “one holiday at a time” rule. Below are more

Fall Home Decor Ideas
If you’re looking for general fall home decor, I recommend adding some subtle pieces to your home. A throw blanket is a perfect option. This basket weave knit throw blanket comes in four great neutral shades that will add that subtle touch of fall. Another easy way to add some fall into your home is with pillows. This jacquard velvet pillow cover or this leather pillow cover are great for adding fall textures and tones to your home. This faux fur pillow is another great option for fall and winter. I also adore these pumpkin pillows for something fun. Scroll all the way through for even more pillow options!
Speaking of pumpkins, you can’t have fall decor without pumpkins, and these woven pumpkins are subtle and classy. I also love this woven pumpkin for only $10. If you want to add smaller pumpkins around your home, then you’ll love these small white and gold pumpkins. You could easily style them with this brass pumpkin. For something more subtle, add these pumpkin candle holders on your mantle this season.
Next, let’s add some fall fun to the kitchen and dining space. This fall dish towel or pumpkin towel set are festive, practical and cute! If you’re hosting anything at your home, then you’ll need this pumpkin charcuterie board to add a festive touch. You’ll also need these coupe glasses or these old fashioned glasses, this linen napkin set, and this orange bow napkin ring. They are the epitome of fall chic! Also, how cute is this pumpkin loaf pan for a festive fall treat?? Now all you need is this cute fall mug for your coffee.
Add the finishing touch to your home with this autumn wreath and this fall welcome mat. It will give your home all of the fall vibes. Add the scent of fall to your home with this pumpkin chai candle or this autumn plum candle.

I just decorate for fall and Thanksgiving with very little for Halloween, kind of over Halloween now that my kids are grown! Great tips, thanks for sharing! I think I will go pull out my fall décor!
I only do fall these days with a teeny bit of Halloween sprinkled in. I can finally put it out – it has been so hot I have not felt in the mood to decorate!
I love those glass pumpkins from Pottery Barn! The black and white checkered pumpkins are cute too!
I usually decorate for fall although I put pumpkins on the porch for Halloween and hope they last through Thanksgiving. I’m like you, I decorate one holiday at a time. Thanks for all the recommendations. I just might have to get me something new this year.
I gave all of my great Halloween decorations to my niece last year and she loves them as much as I did!
