Is it just me or have you felt the weather to be fall(ish) recently? Between grocery stores being filled with pumpkins, pumpkin spice items and the slow drop in temperatures, it gets me inspired to decorate for fall. This is why today I’m sharing some fall home decor inspiration. Let’s look at pieces you can add to your home for fall, including items for Halloween and Thanksgiving. These pieces are tasteful and don’t detract from your usual home decor. I know some people who love decorating for each individual holiday and others who like to decorate for the season as a whole. What do you do? I love to decorate for fall and then add some touches for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Right after that, I do major decorating for the Christmas holiday season. But overall I operate by the “one holiday at a time” rule.

Fall Home Decor Ideas
If you’re looking for general fall home decor, I recommend adding some subtle pieces to your home. A throw blanket is a perfect option. This chenille knit throw blanket comes in seven great neutral shades that will add that subtle touch of fall. Another easy way to add some fall into your home is with pillows. This jacquard velvet pillow cover is a great way to add fall textures and tones to your home. A fall colored lamp or brown leather picture frame are other easy ways to add subtle fall tones to your everyday decor.
Looking for bigger furniture items? This velvet arm chair is so chic and perfect for fall. For a pop of color, try this green accent chair. Another beautiful piece to add to a living space is this wood coffee table. Decorate it with these decorative leather links, this decorative fall candle and a coffee table book.
Next, let’s add some fall tones to the kitchen and dining space. If you want to update your tablescape with some classy fall pieces, then I recommend these brown leather placemats and these brown glazed dinner plates. You’ll also need these fall colored mugs for your morning coffee. Another everyday item you’ll love is this pumpkin dish towel. It is festive, practical and cute!
Speaking of pumpkins, you can’t have fall decor without pumpkins, and these glass pumpkin is subtle and classy. I also love this woven pumpkin for only $5. Add the finishing touch to your home with this autumn wreath and this pumpkin doormat. It will give your home all of the fall vibes. Add the scent of fall to your home with this pumpkin chai candle or this autumn plum candle.

Have a great weekend! xoxo – Tanya
I just decorate for fall and Thanksgiving with very little for Halloween, kind of over Halloween now that my kids are grown! Great tips, thanks for sharing! I think I will go pull out my fall décor!
I only do fall these days with a teeny bit of Halloween sprinkled in. I can finally put it out – it has been so hot I have not felt in the mood to decorate!
I love those glass pumpkins from Pottery Barn! The black and white checkered pumpkins are cute too!
I usually decorate for fall although I put pumpkins on the porch for Halloween and hope they last through Thanksgiving. I’m like you, I decorate one holiday at a time. Thanks for all the recommendations. I just might have to get me something new this year.
I gave all of my great Halloween decorations to my niece last year and she loves them as much as I did!
Very cool selection, I like different vases or paintings that can make a home better. Also, as an option, it is now popular to use posters and they can be found for every taste.
