Happy Monday! Did you have a fantastic weekend? We are truly enjoying the cooler temperatures in Dallas and I am hoping that FALL is finally here! Good news – TODAY is the Victoria Emerson Columbus Day SALE! I’ve featured Victoria Emerson on the blog in this post here. Her jewelry pieces are amazing and such a great price point. Especially with the holidays coming up soon, I would stock up on your gifts now during the big sitewide SALE. Everything on the Victoria Emerson website is discounted so don’t miss out!
Happy National Handbag Day! Yep, October 10 is the day! In fact, you can catch me on Good Morning Texas this morning discussing the topic. We’ll be covering the latest trends in handbags including this amazing leather satchel from Draper James. I can’t think of a better place to show off Reese Witherspoons brand and southern charm than at the State Fair of Texas. Step right up!
Lately, I decided to start trying to layer my jewelry more. I’ve noticed how chic and trendy it looks, so I had to experiment! It took me a while to get the hang of it but I’m definitely sold on layering necklaces since it really elevates a casual look. So today I want to share my findings on how to layer necklaces. If I can do it, you can too!
Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Ours was relaxing and fun. We finished the Assistant Office in our home (reveal coming soon), went to the State Fair of Texas and just got caught up with odds and ins around the house. Let’s talk about one of my favorite brands – Lafayette 148! It’s classic, modern and chic. I’ve highlighted the brand previously on the blog here. So it seemed about time to do a brand focus since I always feel my best and most stylish when wearing it! Today, I am sharing my latest look from them that I pulled together for the fall season. Even though the weather may not reflect the season here in Texas, I can feel it coming soon. So I need to be prepared!
The animal print midi skirt has been trending for a while now. You’ve probably seen a blogger on Instagram at some point wearing a leopard print midi skirt. So today, I thought it’d be nice to share one of my favorites. Plus, a few more and how to style them.
This dark teal color is one of fall’s biggest color trends! It’s the perfect mix of blue and green. I love this teal dress because it reminds me of Downton Abbey style. Actually, I recently saw the new Downtown Abbey movie and LOVED it. You can get tickets to see it here. I thought about wearing this to the premiere, but instead opted for something more casual. But this ruffle-trimmed dress with puff sleeves, a high neck, empire waist, back tie, fluttery hem and gorgeous deep tone make it the best dress to highlight the fall color trend of teal!
