Happy Monday! It’s that time of year again… the time when you have to figure out how to transition your wardrobe from summer to fall. Fall in Texas means it can feel like a hot summer day one moment, and a chilly fall day the next. Today I want to look at a few staple dresses that are great for both the summer and fall seasons. Personally, I am so excited for the fall, so I cannot wait to share these popular looks for the upcoming season.

A staple piece that makes it so easy to transition your wardrobe from summer to fall is a great dress. Let’s look at two of my favorites. This chambray maxi dress is perfect for both seasons. It is made out of a great lightweight material that makes it a great transition piece. It has side buttons, so you can show as much leg as you want! I love the 3/4 sleeve too. For a warmer look, I paired it with slide sandals, but for a fall look pair it with some ankle boots.

Another classic dress for the fall is a maxi shirtdress. I love this floral maxi shirtdress because of the gorgeous fall colored pattern. The dress also has a great tie waist that makes it flattering. It is a great dress to have for any lunch or event. You can dress it up with strappy sandals like I did above, or pair it with boots for the ultimate fall look.

What’s your favorite fashion piece to transition your wardrobe from summer to fall? Check out another great fall transitional look HERE.

xoxo – Tanya
