Happy Halloween weekend! What is everyone doing this weekend? Do you dress up in costume? This past weekend Pete and I went to Jordan Winery to attend their annual Halloween party, and it was amazing! See what our costumes were HERE. In honor of Halloween, I thought I would share my favorite all black fall fashion pieces. I love wearing all black, especially during the fall and winter. You can wear an all-black look for casual running errands or going out for date night. Whatever it is, an all-black look is a classic go-to option. Pretty SPOOKY, right? AND… there is a little surprise on the the blog today. It’s beginning to look a lot like…
YES! The 2021 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDES are ready for you to preview. While they officially launch on Monday, November 1, you can take a sneak peek by clicking HERE. A huge thank you to Laura for working overtime to get these done early. With the supply chain and shipping issues, we felt the need to publish them earlier than we ever have. We will be rolling out two Holiday Gift Guides each week and each one will have more extensive offerings.
Y’all, we watched the original HALLOWEEN movie from 1978 the other night and I forgot how creepy it is. Don’t watch it right before you go to bed… Did you know that independent film was made for $300,000 and grossed $70 million world wide? Also, Lindsey – the little girl being babysat is Kyle Richards from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. How about those factoids?
All Black Fashion
The easiest way to wear all black is to style a pair of jeans with a blouse. I love these high-rise black jeans. Pair them with this vegan leather puff sleeve top or this organza puff sleeve top. Another wardrobe staple is a pair of faux leather leggings. I love these faux patent leather leggings. They go well with sweaters like this fringe cashmere poncho or this layered sleeve sweater. For an added layer, try this chic faux leather puffer jacket (or this puffer jacket for under $50) or this gorgeous high collar coat.
Let’s look at my favorite all black accessories. My opinion is that you can never have too many pair of black shoes. Some of my current favorites includes these mock-croc ballet flats and these lug sole boots. You also can never have too many black handbags. How chic is this black fringe clutch? Definitely need to add it to my collection. To complete your all black look you’ll need some chic sunglasses and a pair of earrings. If you want to be extra bold, try this black eyeshadow for a great smokey eye.
What is your go-to all-black look? Be sure and check out more great fall looks HERE. Have a great weekend! xoxo – Tanya
