Hostess, Friends & Neighbor Gifts
Now on to hostess gifts… as I said, many of these gifts are great ideas for not only the hostess, but also for friends, co-workers, teachers, and neighbors. Be sure to stock up! One of my favorite gifts from this guide is probably the virtual happy hour kit. This is a great gift for friends near and far. I also love this sweater wine bag paired with a bottle of wine. If they’re a wine lover, they will enjoy this Wine Wars Party Game. Other nice gifts for the hostess includes a unique cordial, a nice olive oil or this basil balsamic vinegar (comes in three other unique flavor options).
If you’re looking for some more decorative kitchen items, this serving platter is gorgeous and festive. Another unique and nice gift option is this iPad and cookbook holder. It pairs perfectly with a beautiful cookbook. Another useful and lovely give are these marble and brass monogrammed coasters. I love monogrammed gifts because it gives that personalized touch. I have a wide selection of monogram-able items below.
Looking for something more unique? I recommend this holiday adult coloring book! Just be sure and gift it with colored pencils. Another fun option is this winter paint-by-number kit. You also can’t go wrong with a beautiful calendar.
Another gift you can never go wrong with is the gift of relaxation. A nice candle or some luxury bubble bath always a great option. They will also love this ultra soft throw blanket.
Gift Etiquette Tip: Don’t ever bring a hostess something that has to be made, eaten, or handled right at that moment. It’s considered rude to expect the hostess to take time out of hosting the party to take care of what you brought. That’s why it’s best to bring a bottle of wine, sweet treats, candles, etc. because they can be enjoyed at a later date.
Do you have any hostess gifts that you love to give during the holiday season? I would love to hear some of your tried and true gifting ideas. Also, be sure and shop gifts under $100 for your friends and neighbors HERE.
