It’s that time of year again… the time when you have to figure out how to transition your wardrobe from summer to fall. Fall in Texas means it can feel like a hot summer day one moment, and a chilly fall day the next. Today I will highlight some key fall transition pieces to update your wardrobe without breaking the bank. Fall Transition Pieces

Let’s start with tops. To transition to fall, you need versatile tops that are in fall hues, but can still be worn in all weather. One top I love is this faux leather top. The color is gorgeous and the style makes it so easy to dress up or down. Another top I am loving is this animal print blouse. The lightweight material is perfect to wear all season long. Also, the olive color is a popular color this season. Add in the fun print and you have a statement piece for all season long!

If you’re looking for something more simple, then you’ll love this white button down top. It is definitely a wardrobe staple that everyone needs in their fall wardrobe. I love this one in particular because of the slightly oversized fit and the lightweight material. Above, I styled it with this lightweight sweater, another fall must-have. It’s important to have lightweight layers as the temperatures drop, especially in the evenings. Another white top I’m loving is this white blouse. It is flattering and chic style that makes it easy to dress up or down as well as layer.

Now let’s talk jeans! This is an obvious must-have for the fall. This is my favorite time of year to do a little jeans refresh. One pair that I love right now are these high-waisted straight leg jeans. These are so comfortable and flattering with minimal distressing, so they’re easy to dress up or down. I also love these dark wash mid-rise ankle jeans. They are so comfortable and will be one of your new favorite pair of jeans. They also come in medium wash.
