If you’re a regular reader, you probably noticed that I started to focus on fall style for the upcoming season. There is actually only 11 days until fall officially begins. Can you believe it? I sure can’t! But I sure am glad the weather should be cooling off soon. So of course, we need to prepare our wardrobe for this change with some fresh fall style. One of my favorites lately has been the Ann Taylor Fall 2019 collection because the brand is stylish and classic. That’s why I’m so excited about their Friends of Ann SALE, which gets you 40% OFF from today through Monday, September 16! They have so many great work and everyday options for fall that I think you all will love.
Ann Taylor Fall 2019
Right now, I love styling transitional looks that are fall focused but not too warm. Both of the above looks are from Ann Taylor, which I think is perfect for the current weather. The first look styled is an easy and adorable wrap dress. You all know how picky I am about wrap dresses if you read this previous post. This dress checks all the boxes for me and is darling for summer into fall. It would be great with sandals in the summer, but in the fall I plan on wearing it with a moto jacket and booties perhaps. I love a great belted silhouette that’s nicely tailored. Plus, fall florals are always fresh and fun.
For my second look, I wanted to incorporate one of my favorite trends – animal print. I recently covered the animal print trend for fall in this post if you haven’t read it yet. We all know leopard and cheetah is a staple, but have you tried prints like zebra? This zebra coat is a statement piece that is both chic and a little edgy, especially with booties like these. I always recommend pairing your statement pieces with something more simple, such as my classic mock neck tank. This tank is my favorite transitional piece because it gives me a fall look without causing me to totally overheat.
What do you have your eye on from the Ann Taylor Fall 2019 sale? I linked my favorites below, so add them to your cart before they sell out! xoxo – Tanya
