Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. Governor Abbott’s press conference on Friday seemed hopeful that restrictions will soon be lifting in phases. Praise Be! In the meantime, we’re just over here ordering Rita’s & Queso far too often! Have you had them?
It’s no secret that I LOVE make-up, skincare, hair care and all things BEAUTY! So when this SALE comes along, I get so excited to stock up on my favorites and try some new things. Today I am sharing my Sephora Beauty Insider Event Must Haves for Spring 2020. Anyone can be a Sephora Beauty Insider. It’s FREE! Sign up today and get ready to save.
Did you know that anyone can be a Sephora Beauty Insider? Just register HERE for free and become part of the reward program. It’s a tiered system and the more you shop, the higher level you will become. Their three levels are 1) Rouge (top) 2) VIB Member (middle) and 3) Insider (beginner). I tell you this because the Sephora Insider Beauty Event Sale is a tiered system with the highest level getting the biggest discount and getting access to the sale first. Makes sense, right?
Here is the SALE breakdown:
Rouge Members – Shop 4/17 – 5/1 and receive 20% OFF your purchase
VIB Members – Shop 4/21 – 4/29 and receive 15% OFF your purchase
Beauty Insiders – Shop on 4/23 – 4/27 get 10% OFF your purchase
So as long as you are a registered Beauty Insider, you will be able to participate in the SALE! Register NOW so that all of your purchases will add up and get you to the next level soon! If you are a Rouge Member, what are you waiting for? Start shopping NOW!
Here are some of my favorite items and investments during this sale. I’m listing them out by category.
TAN: Several of the self tanners that we discussed in this blog post are from Sephora. In fact, since we are still stuck at home, I just ordered the Tan-Luxe Face and Tan-Luxe Body drops. I get them in color Light/Medium. I like these because you mix them with your favorite moisturizer and apply. It’s fail proof really. The Isle of Paradise drops are also really good
HAIR: This is a great time to invest in the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer. It dries my hair in half the time! You might want to think about the other Dyson hair products too, especially since these type things never go on sale. Olaplex No.3 is a great treatment for your hair.
I just colored my gray roots at home with the dpHUE Root Touch Up Kit. I use color Medium Blonde. I love all of their products and I am currently using the Semi-Permanent Gloss in Light Blonde to give shine to my hair. Be sure to check out this blog post which includes a video on how to use the dpHUE Root Touch Up Kit.
MAKE-UP: Stock up on Erborian BB Cream and CC Cream. I use color Clair. You can use these two products together (BB and then layer CC on top) for full coverage or use them separately. For example, I love to just use the BB Cream as a tinted moisturizer on weekends. I also love their Touch Pen concealer (color: Clair) for under eyes and to dab little flaws on my face. Erborian is a French/Korean skincare brand and is not carried in the Sephora stores (only online).
Charlotte Tilbury occupies the most space in make-up drawer and rightfully so. I love all of her products! Check out this blog post where I got to work with her make-up artists at a Master Class. I swear by her Magic Cream and use it every morning! Don’r forget to stock up on BeautyBlenders.
Don’t forget that your personal favorite make-up, skincare, hair care and perfume are all most likely on the Sephora site. Why buy any of it at full price when you can shop them and get a discount! If you can’t shop until April 23 access, consider this blog post your homework. Think about what you need and make a list. Then come back here on Thursday morning and get started. Don’t worry, I’ll remind you!
