Hello and Happy Monday! I just finished attending my 5th rewardStyle Conference! As always, I was so excited to reunite with a lot of my blogger friends and meet some new influencers. What is this conference? I’ll explain in today’s blog post and tell you why it’s so important. Plus, I’ll show you everything I wore.
rewardStyle is the affiliate link company I use. It enables me to “link” everything I am talking about allowing me to make a commission on anything you purchase. If you are wondering how bloggers make money, this is one of the revenue streams. rewardStyle is the same company that developed the LikeToKnow.it app, which is the technology that makes all of my Instagram posts shopable by creating a link bundle to everything I am referencing in the Instagram post. The actual picture and links are created and stored in the LTK app and that feed in itself is always shopable. Did you know that I post and link a lot of daily pictures in the LTK app that aren’t necessarily posted anywhere else? It’s a quick way to capture daily looks, flat lays, and items I am talking about on Instagram Stories. I highly encourage you to download the FREE LikeToKnow.it app on your phone, follow tanyafosterblog and shop with me there. It’s the easiest way to SHOP from your phone.
I always learn so much by attending the rewardStyle Conference. It’s an honor to be invited as they only extend invitations to their Top 200 producing influencers. How do I achieve this each year? YOU! You all are following me, reading the daily blog posts, clicking links and shopping the items I am talking about. So THANK YOU for shopping with me!
Here are a few things that happen when attending #rStheCon. I get to attend classroom sessions on relevant technology driving the blogger business, meet with brands in the brand hall and have one-on-one meetings with brands that potentially want to collaborate with me. Did you know that 80% of online sales come from mobile devices? And that in 2018, online sales exceeded brick and mortar store sales? All facts I learned while listening to Amber Venz Box and her husband and rewardStyle co-founder Baxter Box at the opening session.
Below I am showing you a little recap from my 3 days down at the Hotel Crescent Court. It’s always so fun to catch up with everyone! I’m linking you to my looks and sharing some other tidbits too. SURPRISE GIVEAWAY: I got so much swag at the conference that I am going to share it with one lucky winner. Leave a comment on the blog today and answer this questions. WHY DO YOU READ THIS BLOG? For the beauty tips? Fashion and styling? Lifestyle tips? Travel posts? the winner will be announced on the blog in one week. Good Luck!
Again, THANK YOU for being a loyal follower of TanyaFoster.com and @tanyafosterblog on all social media. My success is due to YOU!
xoxo – Tanya

Is there anything more beautiful than the flower installation at the Hotel Crescent Court? It’s always stunning!
True Story: This is the outfit I had on to wear to register at the rewardStyle Conference on Thursday. I had another luncheon event to attend before heading to conference check-in. While at the luncheon, I dropped some of my chocolate dessert on my new white dress. UGH! Needless to say, this outfit never made it to the conference. But it’s so flattering so I wanted to show it to you. My shoes are old and no longer available but I have linked similar styles. If you want a beautiful white dress with a little longer hemline, I have this one too and love it.
______
EVERYTHING the rewardStyle event team does is spectacular. The events, the branding, the swag – every detail is perfectly executed. The first event was a pool side party to welcome everyone.
I wore this gorgeous blue and white stripe maxi dress to the pool side party that was sponsored by Sole Society. It was perfect for the occasion and I will be wearing this all summer long. How chic is this amazing ODP bag?
______
Friday’s court yard luncheon was sponsored by Mary Kay. This beautiful lipstick bar allowed us to select a color. So fun!
I got to get caught up with one of my favorite bloggers while attending a class room session on Friday. Jennifer Lake writes Style Charade and I have never seen anyone shoot more beautiful pictures than her. She lives in Chicago. Be sure to follow her Instagram (@jenniferlake) too and notice how much work goes into her styled “wall” shots. WOW!
Friday was a marathon day so I decided to wear this black dress that has been on the blog before (click here to see the blog post). It was perfect with my new flats.
This was the ‘SHOT’ bar in the Colleen Rothschild booth (or I should say room). The shot flavors lined up with her masks and I can tell you that they were delicious!
______
Per typical Dallas weather, it stormed on Saturday causing me to completely rethink what I was going to wear. This I know – when it rains and is humid, a hotel will crank down the air conditioning to compensate. I was right! I nearly froze in my classroom sessions and brand meetings all day Saturday. Good thing I already had this amazing combo and jacket to wear. Everything I have on is old but really works for spring. These amazing skinny cargo pants also come in grey and navy. The fit is really good!
______
The luncheon event on Saturday was sponsored by JC Penney. How perfect that the menu had hot tomato soup with a variety of salads.
Brand meetings are such an important part of being a blogger! This year I met with Soma, Garmin (they make incredible watches), Steve Madden, Elemis and Supergoop. I’m excited about all of these brands and will be bringing you more about them later. The exact jacket I have on is still available in color Empress Teal and its on major SALE! There is a beautiful ivory jacket available in a slightly different style (same brand). It’s on SALE too!
UGH! I hate indoor hotel lighting, don’t you? But this is the best shot we could get. I adore Teggy French and love her style. The girl can rock a caftan like no other! Follow her Instagram (@teggyfrench) to see the black one she wore. She lives in New Jersey but her style is very 1960’s Palm Beach. FABULOUS!

One of my favorite things about attending the rewardStyle Conference each year is the friendships I have made with fellow bloggers and the new ones I meet. The blogging industry is very young with most influencers being in their mid-20’s. I’ve never seen so many beautiful women in one place! I tend to gravitate over to my “older” friends both in age and length of friendship. While I do stress out right before conference about what to wear, I settle down quickly and just “do me” and stick to my style. I would not be able to run my business without rewardStyle and I am grateful to be selected to attend their conference each year.
I love following all of these amazing women and their blogs. Click on their sites for inspiration. I met all of them through blogging with the exception of Alicia Wood. We’ve been friends for over 20 years and have been blogging for the past 5 years.

I love your blog for lifestyle and fashion tips! I love the insider scoop to events like this one! Great job!
I am turning 70 in July and trying to move forward in a positive way. I’m dealing with contact dermatitis on my eyelids which prevents me from wearing eyeshadows. I can wear lipstick and that’s blessing…. tired of folks asking me if I’m sick. I want to feel pretty again! This makes me try again!
60. Not 70! Gee wiz!
While I mainly read you’re blog for the fashion, I do enjoy all of your content! And I love how you style your photos as well they are not static, but real world, yet glam at the same time!
I love reading your blog for the fashion and styling! Always fun to see how you change things up and mix the old with the new.
Your blog and Instagram is one of my favs because your style is very chic and classic. While some of your pieces are an investment, a lot are very affordable as well. Your style is unique to you and you don’t “copy” other blogger outfits.
I read your blog because it’s the easiest way to cull down so many fashion options. I have a stressful job and don’t have time to go into a store and leisurely shop, so your blog cuts through that time and points me where I need to focus. Your age appropriate ideas help me stay current, yet comfortable. A cup of coffee and Tanyafoster.com is my morning automatics!
I love the lifestyle and fashion tips. And the travel is always lots of fun too! Thanks for all your hard work and fun writing!
I read your blog for ALL of your tips. Being in the same “age bracket”, I love your style and beauty tips that are appropriate for our age. I like that I can stay “current”!!!
As I have gotten older, I’ve realized that the fashion magazines that I once loved generally cater to the teeny-bopper set. I enjoy your blog because it applies to me! You also provide information on brands that I may not have tried myself. For example, you introduced me to Eliza J, a wonderful line of dresses that I now shop all the time. You also show me how to put items together, like the flats you are wearing in the photo with the black dress today. Because of a foot injury, I am unable to wear heels right now, so I’m very glad to see that you still look chic wearing flats with a dress.
Love all your tips and especially the dresses you feature! I get many compliments on the dresses I’ve bought through this blog!

I enjoyed seeing what you chose to wear at the style conference. It’s always interesting to see what stylish women chose to wear to events like this. Most of my time with my friends in spent on tennis courts in little skirts and pony tails! I appreciate your tailored, classic style and definitely read your blog for all things beauty and fashion.
Before I found your blog I was in a rut. The styles you put together and the beauty products you have recommended have given me new confidence. The travel tips are just a bonus!
I love your blog to learn about all the different shopping options and boutiques in the area. It is easy to get “out of style” as we get older, but your posts help me keep up to date! I also appreciate your candid reviews of your aesthetic procedures! I am currently looking for a Derby hat – are there any shops in the North Dallas area that have hats?
I read your blog for the fashion tips. Thank you for being in the know!
Amy
I really like that you show all price points. Your fashion sense is spot on. Still my favorite blog. I read your posts on my IPad.
I read your blog just about every day, I feel like a stalker!!
It seems to me that the products you recommend you really try out. I can’t thank you enough for all the cute shoes, mascara, lotion, workout leggings, eye cream…omg! I should make a list…it would be huge! Anyways to answer your question, I love it all, but probably the beauty products.
Thanks for all your hard work! It is much appreciated.
I enjoy reading your blog because I love following someone who is local. You’re so glam and sophisticated, and I really like reading about your beauty and fashion finds. I also like your travel tips and trip recaps.
Just ordered the two white dresses from Nordstrom! Read you because I get SO many great fashion ideas!
I read your blog regarding travel and beauty. I love to share your tips with my mom. Also, you have good outfits that can be worn at any age. Thank you for all your tips. I enjoy reading your blog !

HI! I read your blog mainly for the fashion, but always enjoy the skincare and lifestyle segments, also! Just bought the tiered, tassel maxi dress!!!
I’m so glad you got it. You will love that dress Pam!

I read each morning for the fashion and beauty tips.
Keep up the good work!
Hello, it’s the stalker. I read your blog mainly to get the latest fashion styles and beauty tips. You are sincere in what you promote and my entire wardrobe and makeup that I have purchased in the last two years has come from one of your blogs. Seriously, I hate to shop, not knowing what’s in and what’s out. Your fashion style is now my fashion style because I work in a professional environment where I have to wear suits all the time. When I browse the stores, I don’t see any of these items so I come home and go to your sight. Besides, I Just like your content – the fun, the dogs and cat, the travel and all.
LOVE reading all of your comments! And thank you for letting me know what you like!
xoxo- Tanya
Stalker??? NEVER! I LOVE hearing from you every day and would miss it if you ever skipped leaving a comment.
Keep ’em coming Barbara!

I love reading your blog for skincare and fashion. Your style is classic and sophisticated. I appreciate the knowledge received from following your skincare journey so thank you for taking us along! You are my number one blogger for anti aging products! The pets are just an added bonus!
I read for fashion news, travel tips and beauty advice. I know I can find these articles elsewhere , but You keep it real. For example, spilling chocolate on your white dress! I love that you tell it like it is!
I read for styling advice. Ususally I can find clothes that are similiar to the ones you model but not so pricey.
