Do you like plaid? Do you like to wear plaid? I love it and I’ve just found that adding a plaid coat over your outfit really adds a punch to your look. It’s like an exclamation point! Check out this one as well as ll the others I discovered. Mad For Plaid!
Well by now you probably know that I am in Park City, Utah attending Sundance Film Festival. I still have such a love for independent film (well, all film really) and it’s a great way to support film makers in their art. I am traveling with Ruth M., who I have done all film festivals with. She’s who I went to Africa with last fall.
This look was shot in Dallas of course. Nothing about the blog is in real time. I can shoot up to 8 looks every time I work with my photographer. It’s best to maximize good hair and make-up and shoot as much as you can. Then I roll out the fashion looks based on deadline. You didn’t really think I have this on today did you? Wink, wink.
In my daily, casual looks, I can tend to get bored. A top, a bottom, shoes…blah. So I recently was sent this fabulous plaid coat and I love how it instantly adds a punch of color to my otherwise plain look. In fact, any plaid coat adds a level of interest, don’t you think? That’s why I rounded up a few and have linked them below.
You may wonder why I added the last picture of the winter white fit & flare dress. I published the blog post with this look on Monday, January 14. But as I was reviewing my google analytics, I realized that the blog post never distributed via e-mail. So weird. Technology, go figure! Click here to see the full post.
Happy Monday! xoxo – Tanya

Not a plaid girl. Closest I’ll get is my houndstooth black and white sweater coat with black fur collar.
I love plaid! Looks so cute dressed up or casual!
Have fun in Utah!
Love that jacket and it’s kind of great for going into early spring when the weather’s still cold, but we start wanting to wear more spring like colors.
I like the plaid coat – it looks like Spring. I really didn’t think you were in Dallas because it’s cold – and this is not the outfit you would be wearing here today. Enjoy your time at the film festival – sounds exciting.
Love this so much ~ I ordered one
