Whether you are heading out of town or not this summer, you want your backyard to be an oasis that can transport you to summer vacay mode. Let’s look at all of the fun items you can get to make you feel like you are taking a fun vacay from the comfort of your own home. Backyard Summer Essentials
First thing’s first, let’s talk daytime backyard essentials. To beat the heat, you need water activities. If you have access to a pool, then you will need fun pool activities. This pineapple pool float is perfect for lounging. This 2-in-1 volleyball and pong set and these waterproof playing cards are both fun things to do in the pool. Towels are also must-have. I love these luxurious beach towels. Another favorite beach towel are these Weezie beach towels. They’re so soft and will make you feel like you’re on a vacation at a resort. Be sure to stay hydrated with this adorable tumbler drink set and keep your drinks cool with this insulated tote. Once the sun starts to set, you will need the proper ambiance in your backyard. These string lights are so pretty and will really set the mood. I also love having chic patio furniture, like this wicker egg chair. A luxury hammock is another nice touch. You will also need items for dining al fresco. These ratan placemats, these ceramic plates and these ceramic napkin rings are a few items that will make your tablescape perfect for summer. You’ll also want a chic rattan beverage tub to keep your drinks ice cold. As for entertainment, this pickleball set, this golf game set, and this corn hole game set are all great options. You’ll also want these marshmallow roasting sticks to end the evening with s’mores.
