Nothing makes me think of vacation more than summertime! With everything going on, it is much trickier to get out of town to our usual vacation destinations. Whether you are homebound or on a budget or just don’t feel comfortable traveling, there is no reason not to have a backyard summer staycation. Let’s look at all of the fun items you can get to make you feel like you are taking a fun vacay from the comfort of your own home.

First thing’s first, you need a pool to have some summer fun. If you don’t have a pool in your backyard or neighborhood, this inflatable pool is perfect for the whole family. You can’t have a proper backyard summer staycation without food! This snow cone maker is the perfect treat on a hot summer day. Another essential is for your backyard staycation is BBQ tools. This portable grill and this barbecue grill tool set are definite must-haves. I also love this portable bonfire. It is perfect for a s’mores night and to make you feel like you are enjoying a real campfire. All you need are some fun games to go with your food like this cornhole bean bag toss or this giant Jenga set.
Last but not least, you need the proper ambiance for your backyard summer staycation. I love this bluetooth speaker to get the music pumping (plus it comes in 6 fun colors).
