Blue Ruffle Top (similar, also here and here) / Blue Jeans / Nude Heels / Red Tote Bag / Mirror Sunglasses
Happy Monday my sweet friends! I hope you had a great weekend. We spent time with family in Austin and the bluebonnets were spectacular! Hopefully the last cold spell is over because my winter clothes and sweaters are packed away. Spring is all about fashion with fun colors, details, and super easy to wear. Take another look at this great basic outfit I got from my visit to Waco at Roots Boutique. It’s a super easy look that anyone can wear.
Who can ever have too many staple tops in their closet? Not me! I love this basic blue blouse with the adorable small stripe ruffle detail on the hems. Everyone should own a top like this for those mornings you just don’t know what to wear. Pairing it with these comfortable true blue wash jeans is a great way to make your shirt stand out. I love pairing all of my outfits with nude heels to complement and make them a little dressed up. And of course, every outfit needs a pop of color with accessories like this handbag.
Each of these pieces are great to mix and match with items you already own. Trust me when I say you will be so thankful you have basic blouses and jeans like this. Check out the links for similar items, or go to Roots Boutique in Waco, Texas for more of their clothing.
What is your go-to basic outfit? xoxo – Tanya
P.S. Don’t forget to join me on Tuesday night (tomorrow) for the fun event. Click here for details. I would love to meet you!

Love the pretty ruffle blouse and red bag goes very well.
Forgot to mention my basic go to outfit for spring are my green ankle jeans, black t-shirt or blouse and black jcrew flats.
Those sunglasses cast a terrible reflection!
Your blouse is perfect and so cute. I need to go to Waco and stock up on all of their stylish clothes. My favorite run around summer weekend outfit is rolled up jeans, a nice top, and sandals. In colder months, always anything with boots.
