It’s New York Fashion Week! This is like the Super Bowl for fashion bloggers. So I’m going to step it up a notch with the fashion posts. You’ll see more of them in the coming weeks because A) it’s a huge part of this blog B) the social season is among us C) why not! I am loving this easy sheath dress (now on sale – 50% off) from Nordstrom and black suede ankle band sandals from Neiman Marcus. I like the gentle lace on the dress because it ramps up the black on black detail. This is a perfect look for a fall luncheon. Or funeral. Let’s hope it’s not needed for the second option.

That black dress is so gorgeous and looks amazing on you. Love the shoes, too. I’m wondering if black pumps would give a more stream lined look. The lace on the dress is such a focal point , i feel like the shoe creates another focal point that kind of breaks the line of the leg and is confusing to the eye. Just a thought….again….beautiful dress, hair, jewelry!!!
