H E L L O August! We are halfway through one of the hottest weeks of the year! How are you holding up? Something I always throw on when it’s a hot summer day is a dress. Dresses are lightweight and breezy, so they are the easiest way to look cute while beating the heat. One of my favorite dresses this summer is from a brand I recently discovered, Allison New York. Allison New York
Allison New York is a Manhattan-based brand founded by designer Ally Groedel. Her inspiration comes from her many travels throughout the world, which is why each piece has a whimsical feel. The style can be described as a mix of bohemian and romantic, which creates one-of-a-kind pieces. Each item has a beautiful feminine silhouette and unexpected details. Something else I love about Allison New York is that they create multiple silhouettes out of the same fabric, so you have options on which piece looks best on you!
A pattern I love is the vintage floral, which is seen above in the Natalie Dress (size 6). It is such a beautiful print and perfect for summer! I also love the small cut-out detail and the tie waist. It is so flattering and unique. The dress even has pockets! It is the perfect summertime dress. Another dress in the same vintage floral pattern is the Amor Mini Dress. It is super cute and another perfect summer dress. The Fleur Midi Skirt is another gorgeous piece that is in the same vintage floral pattern. It is flirty and fun.
