I am about to rock your world with a new source in custom cake making. Today I am introducing you to Cades Cakes. This is a blog post you are going to want to read and save. Get ready to salivate.
I love it when I find something new that I can share with you. Cades Cakes is just that special something. Samantha Cade is a graduate of Highland Park High School and went off to college like most kids. It was there while studying business that she realized her true love was pastry and sweets. She left to follow her dreams and studied the Pasty Program at the International Culinary Center in New York. After working in New York City for a bit she came home and is fulfilling her dream by baking homemade custom cakes. Just go to her website and you will see some of her amazing creations.
For this cake, I wanted something special to take to my college daughter and her sorority sisters in honor of their Baylor Homecoming weekend and Pigskin performances. I gave Samantha a few simple instructions and e-mailed her the pictures. She crafted this spectacular three-layer red velvet cake with vanilla icing. The glitter and pictures are edible and delicious (per the Kappa sorority girls). Her baked goods are tasty and custom designed making each one unique and special. Need a cake for a birthday, baby shower, special celebration, or custom decorated cookies? She’s your gal. Her price list is in line with other custom bakers and I can attest that her cakes are super delicious.
I have included a few of her creations that she has on her website so that you can see the variety of work she can do. Give her a shout and order up something and then send me a picture of what you got. Be sure to mention the blog and tell her I sent you!
