Today we are getting back to a regular fashion blog post. Please be assured, I shot this over two weeks ago before we went into lock down mode.
NYFW had so many chic looks, but one of my favorites was the new Coach line. Coach has a new spring 2020 collection that is all the rage. Inspired by the 80’s, this collection includes a collaboration with Richard Bernstein, who is known for his creative and energetic magazine covers from the 70’s and 80’s. The Coach spring collection features the bright and eccentric feel of New York City in the past and present. Since Coach was founded in 1941, they created 78 bags for the 78 years of being top of the fashion world. Even better, Jennifer Lopez is the spokesperson for the spring collection. Plus, there is a Nordstrom SALE ALERT – 25% OFF site wide!
One of my favorite pieces from the new Coach spring collection is this black dress. This plaid, pleated shirt dress takes you from your 9 to 5 and beyond. From business meetings to funerals to luncheons, this dress is my go-to for it all. It is lightweight and versatile, which makes it the perfect LBD. I normally do not wear anything with a drop waist, but this dress is lined to perfection so that it is flattering and comfortable. I also love this bow neck dress and this yoke dress.
There are so many other great pieces in the Coach spring collection like these satin flowy blouses and these pleated skirts. Something that I especially love and wore on my trip to Belize are these Brayden sandals. These sandals were a perfect addition to my beach dresses and were so comfortable. They are made in a way that causes you to use your toes to grip in a certain way so that it tones your calves. I’m all for that!
What is your favorite new piece from the Coach spring collection? I hope this post brings a little lightness to your day.
