This is our personal butler Aldo who was with us 24/7 (and took care of EVERYTHING)! He is pictured with Debrah who attended to our every need by the pool and our cabana at the beach. VIP service!

Taylor styled this black dress as a cover up. Super cute!

Every time I visit Cabo San Lucas, I make sure to visit Flora Farms. We had lunch there and it was delicious! It’s worth the trip. Spend some time there exploring the organic garden and definitely have the homemade ice cream!

Taylor’s dress is Free People and old but I found several similar choices.

Happy Wednesday! I’m sure you know by now that Taylor and I just returned from the most fabulous Mom/Daughter trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. While I’ve been there too many times to count, it was Taylor’s first time to Cabo. So I wanted to make sure we stayed at a resort that would allow us to enjoy the best of the Baja. Let me introduce you to Pueblo Bonito Towers at Pacifica.

Let me say this right from the start, I’m not usually an all-inclusive resort kind of gal. But when I heard from several other bloggers that this property is top-notch, I decided that we would give it a try. Boy am I glad we did! Cabo is a short 2 hour non-stop flight from Dallas with many airlines offering service. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica sends a private driver for you so that you are whisked away immediately and en route to your vacation stay. The property is at the bottom of the Baja near the town of Cabo San Lucas (about a 40 minute drive from the airport).

Pueblo Bonito Towers at Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort is a VIP luxury resort within a resort. The 47 guest rooms come with private terraces all facing the ocean. You get 24 hour butler service and ours was exceptional (his name is Aldo). He took care of our every need including printing our boarding passes, VIP check-in and check-out, spa reservations, dining reservations, secured our cabana and pool chairs and even texted me reminders. The Towers at Pacifica offers its own oceanfront VIP lounge which hosts breakfast and happy hour daily. We literally made no decisions or lifted a finger to organize a thing. Aldo did it all!

While vacationing there for our 4 day/3 night stay, Aldo booked us dining reservations at Peninsula (Baja cuisine), LaFrida (Mexican cuisine) over at the Sunset Beach resort (Next to Pacifica) and Quivira Steakhouse which is located next to the Quivira Golf Club (Jack Nicklaus signature gold course). All three dinners were exceptional! We also enjoyed a VIP breakfast on the beach as well as food and drinks delivered to our cabana and/or pool lounge chairs.

While you may wonder why we would go to Mexico in July, it was definitely cooler than the scorching heat wave we are currently having in Dallas. The temperature was in the mid 80’s – 90’s with a constant ocean breeze. The sun was intense but we were prepared with lots of sunscreen. The weather was beautiful each day during our stay.

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is an adult only resort. Families can enjoy the Pueblo Bonito Sunset resort which is next to Pacifica. You can easily shuttle between the resorts and the Quivira Golf Club. What I absolutely love about this resort is that the beach feels very private. The long stretch of white sandy beach is nestled between two rock formations closing it off from the public. There are unobstructed views of he beach from all points of the resort. This resort has a calm feel to it where you can truly relax and unwind. It gave us much-needed time to get caught up. I haven’t really had that with Taylor since her wedding in May.

The rooms are large with king size beds and luxury linens. Our room had a full living room, separate bedroom, large bathroom which was plenty big for both of us to get ready, and our own refrigerator stocked with water bottles, soft drinks and Mexican beer. We had our own Nespresso machine too which was great for enjoying that early cup of coffee while sitting on the balcony. You can even order pizza 24/7 (as well as a full room service menu) in your room and its included! After dinner, we tried different face masks each night while getting caught up and reading our books. Good girl time!

From the moment we arrived until we departed, we were treated like VIP’s. But I have a feeling they treat everyone who stays in The Towers at Pacifica that way. Luxury at its finest! We will definitely be going back.

Now, if I could just find a way for Aldo to be at my house in Dallas…  xoxo – Tanya

P.S. Taylor was the photographer on this trip. I think she’s hired!
