2015 Dallas International Film FestivalSundance Film Festival

It’s the final weekend of the Dallas International Film Festival and I want you to get out and see some film. I got to see this great documentary at Sundance Film Festival in January – FRESH DRESSED. If you have ever wondered how the Hip Hop music industry influenced fashion this is the film to watch. Filmmaker Sasha Jenkins weaves and excellent story about hip-hop, urban fashion and he will be here for both screenings. It plays on Friday at 9:30 PM and again on Saturday at 5:15 PM. There are so many great films this weekend and on Sunday the DIFF award winners will screen again. Check the schedule here for updates and tickets.

This is what I love about DIFF. The programming is exceptional (shout out James Faust and Sarah Harris). You don’t need to go anywhere else because they bring the best of independent film to you. However, I have gone off for a few days to check out the Tribeca Film Festival. Can’t wait to attend the premier screenings of Indian Point and Franny (starring Richard Gere). Follow me on Instagram (@tanyafosterfilm) for updates. Don’t worry, I’ll be back for the closing of DIFF.

I don’t know about you but I am ready for the weekend! xoxo- Tanya
