There is nothing more exciting than when a new store opens and it benefits a local charity. Such is the case with the newest Elaine Turner boutique opening at the Shops at Legacy on Thursday, March 5th at 11:00 AM. The store opening will benefit Heroes For Children and 20% of that days sales will benefit the charity. I would love for you to join me at the store opening. Elaine herself will be there and you will love meeting this incredible Houston designer.
I braved the winter snow blizzard last Friday to run out to the store and pre-select some of my favorites of her spring 2015 collection. I love her cork and raffia pieces. In case you can’t be at the store opening on Thursday, I have linked you to some of my favorites. I love the shoes I tried on in the pictures above – the Tavia cork wedge and the Kimberly chevron wedge. By the way, if you like cork shoes, she also made the Abby cork sandal (flats) and the Elyse cork heel (a lower heel, strappy sandal). The Sabine striped raffia tote is the perfect shopping tote or beach bag for the spring/summer. She has also just launched a line of spring clothing which will be featured at the store opening.
By the way, Elaine will be on Good Morning Texas on Thursday morning at 9:00 AM to talk about her collaboration with Heroes for Children. Tune in to WFAA (Channel 8) and you might just see someone you know (hint, hint).
This collection makes me want to be on a beach with the sun beaming down on me. How about you? xoxo- Tanya
I’m excited to check it out tomorrow!
Mother nature has us rescheduling this event until Friday.
I hope you can join us then!
xoxo- Tanya 🙂
