Is it just me or have you felt the weather to be fall(ish) recently? Between grocery stores being filled with pumpkins, pumpkin spice items and the slow drop in temperatures, it gets me inspired to decorate for fall. Today, I’m sharing some fall home decor inspiration. Find pieces you can add to your home for fall, including items for Halloween and Thanksgiving. These pieces are tasteful and don’t detract from your usual home decor.
I know some people who love decorating for each individual holiday and others who like to decorate for the season as a whole. What do you do? I love to decorate for fall and then add some touches for Halloween and Thanksgiving. And right after that, I do major decorating for the Christmas holiday season. But I operate by the “one holiday at a time” rule.
If you’re looking for general fall home decor, I recommend adding some subtle pieces to your decor. A throw blanket is a perfect option. This orange throw blanket is cashmere soft and a great neutral for fall. It comes in seven colors if orange is not your thing. Another easy way to add some fall into your home is with pillows. This harvest pillow set is great for adding texture and fall tones to your home. I also adore these plush pumpkin pillows for something fun. Speaking of pumpkins, you can’t have fall decor without pumpkins, and these glass pumpkins are subtle and classy.
Next, let’s add some fall fun to the kitchen. This oven mitt and pot holder set and this cast iron pumpkin cocotte are festive, practical and cute! Also, how cute is this mini pumpkin shaped waffle maker for a festive fall breakfast?? Now all you need is this cute fall mug for your coffee. If you also want the scent of fall in your kitchen, then I suggest this pumpkin spiced hand soap and dish soap set.
If you’re entertaining during the fall season, you definitely need to set the tone by decorating your front door. I love this welcome mat and this autumn wreath. It will give your guests all of the fall vibes. Also, you want them to smell fall as soon as they walk through the door. This pumpkin chai candle is perfect for setting the mood.
What are some of your favorite fall home decor ideas? Below is my full list of fall decor favorites. xoxo – Tanya
