Is it just me or are you also SO ready for fall weather? Even though it’s been hot, with grocery stores being filled with pumpkins and pumpkin spice items, it gets me inspired to decorate for fall. Plus, Practical Magic 2 comes out in two weeks! This is why today I’m sharing some fall home decor inspiration. Let’s look at pieces you can add to your home for fall, including items for Halloween and Thanksgiving. These pieces are tasteful and don’t detract from your usual home decor. I know some people who love decorating for each individual holiday and others who like to decorate for the season as a whole. What do you do? I love to decorate for fall and then add some touches for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Right after that, I do major decorating for the Christmas holiday season. But overall I operate by the “one holiday at a time” rule.

Fall Home Decor Ideas
If you’re looking for general fall home decor, I recommend adding some subtle pieces to your home. A throw blanket is a perfect option. This brown knit throw blanket will instantly add that subtle color tone of fall. Another easy way to add some fall into your home is with pillows. This block print ruffle pillow is a great way to add fall textures and tones to your home. I also love this floral pillow as a fall accent piece. A brown leather picture frame is another easy ways to add subtle fall tones to your everyday decor. This braided wooden oval mirror is another beautiful piece that adds fall tone and texture to your home.
Looking for storage items that double as decor? This floral storage ottoman is so chic and perfect for fall. Another beautiful piece to add to a living space is this rattan basket. Other easy pieces to use to decorate that can also serve as storage includes this marble catchall dish and this wood and linen tray.
Next, let’s add some fall tones to the kitchen and dining space. This cream ceramic botanical bowl is so chic and perfect for displaying fall vegetables and fruit. You’ll also need these pumpkin mugs for your morning coffee. You may also want this autumn-flavored simple syrup set to add that extra awe-factor to your drinks this season. If you’re hosting, you will want these autumn embroidered napkins and this pumpkin serving board. It’s subtle and chic!
Speaking of pumpkins, you can’t have fall decor without pumpkins, and this ceramic pumpkin is subtle and classy. Add the finishing touch to your home with this autumn wreath and this fall floral doormat. It will give your home all of the fall vibes. You’ll also want to add the scent of fall to your home with this harvest chestnut candle. Looking ahead to Thanksgiving, I am eyeing this turkey stoneware shaker set and these corn on the cob candles. They’re so cute and would also make great hostess gifts!
What are some of your favorite fall home decor ideas? There are too many great items to mention specifically, so be sure and scroll through my full list of fall decor favorites below.
Have a great weekend! xoxo – Tanya

I just decorate for fall and Thanksgiving with very little for Halloween, kind of over Halloween now that my kids are grown! Great tips, thanks for sharing! I think I will go pull out my fall décor!
I only do fall these days with a teeny bit of Halloween sprinkled in. I can finally put it out – it has been so hot I have not felt in the mood to decorate!
I love those glass pumpkins from Pottery Barn! The black and white checkered pumpkins are cute too!
I usually decorate for fall although I put pumpkins on the porch for Halloween and hope they last through Thanksgiving. I’m like you, I decorate one holiday at a time. Thanks for all the recommendations. I just might have to get me something new this year.
I gave all of my great Halloween decorations to my niece last year and she loves them as much as I did!
Very cool selection, I like different vases or paintings that can make a home better. Also, as an option, it is now popular to use posters and they can be found for every taste.
