Y’all know how much I love my pets. Since we are an empty nesters, we especially love to spoil them with new toys and treats. They are our family, so we will only give them the best! I have found that the MacKenzie-Childs brand has the absolute cutest products for pets. They have collars, canine cookie jars, pet food mats, and pet bowls. What’s even better? Each of their products are one-of-a-kind and uniquely designed, just like your special pet. Don’t have pets? No worries! MacKenzie-Childs has hundreds of other items that are perfect for your home. Let’s get to know the brand today.

About the Brand

MacKenzie-Childs was born out of their love of home and our commitment to fresh, innovative design. Founded in 1983, their humble beginnings started in the basement of Wallcourt Hall, a building built in 1909 as a dormitory for an all-girls prep school. Several years later, they moved to our present-day headquarters just up the road overlooking Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of Aurora, New York.

The picturesque farm is also home to a small herd of Scottish Highland cattle, dozens of birds roosting in the Gothic-Revival-style Chicken Palace, a duck pond, a former Cornell horse barn, a 1930s greenhouse, spectacular and ever-changing gardens, and plenty of hay fields. Overlooking the grounds is our exquisitely restored Farmhouse, showcasing MacKenzie-Childs designs in a variety of traditional interiors. Did you know that you can visit and tour MacKenzie-Childs? Daily guided tours take you through 15 rooms on three floors, each one a design inspiration. You can also visit their shop and tour the gardens.

When you order their products, you will notice that no two items are alike. This is because they have artisans and designers that create each individual piece by hand. It is truly remarkable and hard to find in this day and age. The company started as a small pottery shop and eventually evolved into adding hand-crafted furniture as well as a variety of other items. MacKenzie-Childs likes to call their style “tradition with a twist”. You can be assured that anything you get from MacKenzie-Childs is one-of-a-kind and made with quality and care by one of their artisans.

Pet Products

These pet bowls come in the MacKenzie-Childs signature Courtly Check® pattern that looks great with your kitchen as well as your pet. They come in medium and large  and they have cat bowls too. Although they look ceramic, they are actually metal bowls. No need to worry about your pet breaking these treasured pieces! Their pet mats in this pattern and this pattern are perfect to accompany the dishes, as well as this adorable canine cookie jar (which also comes in this design). Sparky and Max know exactly what is in the cookie jar – treats!

Signature Look

The MacKenzie-Childs signature is the Courtly Check® pattern. This design is so fun to decorate your kitchen with. Use it as the basis to your overall kitchen design, or as accents to add a fun flare to your kitchen. If you love the color blue then you’re in luck because it also comes in a blue version called Royal Check.

Holiday Decor

Other products I love from MacKenzie-Childs are their holiday decorations. Whether you need something new to host your upcoming Thanksgiving dinner, or want the best new look for Christmas, Mackenzie-Childs has got you covered. You will have unique decorations that no one else will have. I love decorating, and MacKenzie-Childs has so many traditional yet quirky and fun decoration options to change up your usual look. I have linked all the holiday options I love below.

What do you love most about the MacKenzie-Childs products? Do you have any of their pieces?

xoxo – Tanya

P.S. We feed all of our pets Science Diet pet food and organic dog treats. I order all of their food, treats, toys and supplies from Chewy. They deliver to your doorstep in 24 hours!
