Leaping Lizards! I’m over here trying to get out of my fashion comfort zone! Are you wondering what it is? Short skirts and dresses that are above the knee. That is THE area (along with about seven others) that I dislike on myself. But today I am going to make an exception because I really think this dress is cute, especially paired with the espadrilles. Think summer and vacation look…

OK, and the faux wrap dress is only $55. No, I’m not kidding. Brooke has it in red and wore it to a luncheon event we attended together. When she told me it came in white, I had to try it. While I won’t wear it to a luncheon event in Dallas, I do think its perfect for a vacation look. Think about going to dinner after a day on the beach. The reason it is a “faux” wrap dress is because it’s a full dress and just the front part wraps and ties. Which is far better than the real wrap dresses of the 90’s.

And these adorable espadrilles will be worn with everything. Dresses, denim, shorts. You’ll see them a lot on here. They are not too high and super comfortable. If the pink is sold out, it will restock. Look at the other colors too. I love them all!

OK, funny story. I wish you could have been there on this photo shoot. It basically went like this. ME: “Mary, I think I can still do a leap like I did in drill team when I was in high school. Wouldn’t that be pretty?” MARY: “Um, ok… tell me when you are going to leap.” ME: After 499 attempts trying to get myself in the air… “UGH! I guess it looked better in my mind than it did in reality…” Meanwhile, sweet Brooke is taking behind the scenes photos and videos on my iPhone and trying desperately not to fall in the street laughing. If you drove by this scene that day, I truly apologize. GEEZ!

THANK YOU to everyone who came out last night to the private, advance screening of LIFE OF THE PARTY. We had so much fun! I truly love spending time with you and getting to know you better!

Happy Hump Day. Do something to get out of your comfort zone today!  xoxo – Tanya
