Eek! I made a video! I’m so excited to share my first one with you. The series is called “Two Minutes with Tanya“. Today, we are exploring how to cover your roots between salon appointments.
There are some things that are just easier to explain in video format. I’ve taken a lot of pictures over the three years I’ve been blogging and try to show you what I’m talking about in still pictures the best way I can. But today’s topic seemed perfect for my first video. How does it work? I have linked the video at the bottom of this post for you. But you should also SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube channel which is where all my videos will be housed and stay. You can even see some of my acting work on there (be prepared to laugh a little). Just click here and check the red SUBSCRIBE box on the right side. That way if you ever want to see any of these videos again, you can find them.
Now let’s talk about covering your roots between salon visits. I get my hair colored about every 5-6 weeks at the Michael Flores Salon. But when life gets hectic and I can’t get in on time (due to my busy schedule), I notice that I need to touch up my roots just a bit and cover them. And heavens, I really detest seeing any gray hair. UGH! I have recently found two products that I really like. WOW and Back2Blonde. I like both of them and sometimes I use them together. WOW is a powder with an applicator and the Back2Blonde is a spray. My suggestion on the spray is to purchase the two colors closest to your hair color and use both. I have light blonde and medium blonde. With WOW, I am using the color blonde. I’ve heard that this is a great product to use but I haven’t tried it yet. All products are temporary and wash out easily. Enough typing… check out the video below.
I’m anxious to hear what you think about “Two Minutes with Tanya“. Please leave me a comment and let me know if you find the video addition helpful.
xoxo – Tanya
