I hope everyone is having a good week! Before we get started, I want to remind you that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost over! There are only 4 days left to shop, so take advantage of the sale while it’s still here! Remember that all prices jump back to normal on Monday, August 9. You can see all of my selections in the navigation bar on my site. Ok, so today I want to show you how to style any blouse for summer. A blouse is a staple summer wardrobe piece because it is lightweight, cute, and perfect for many occasions!

How to Style a Blouse for Summer
A blouse that I am loving right now is this Sail to Sable blouse (wearing size small). It is the perfect weight and style for a summer day. I especially love the ruffle detailing on the neck and sleeves. The long sleeves is nice because it is oftentimes very chilly in restaurants and stores during the summer. Bonus, it is on sale right now! Since it is summer, pair the blouse with a pair of shorts. I recommend these white girlfriend denim shorts, which are on major sale. They are my absolute favorite shorts. They come in 4 color options! I also own the black pair and the light wash denim pair.
The real secret for how to style a summer blouse? Accessories! To give your look the ultimate summer vibe, you need this straw tote. Also how cute is this pink lace version? It would look great with the blouse. You also need the perfect pair of sandals for a summer look. My go-to sandals for the summer are these Hermes Oran sandals. They are comfortable, stylish and add that luxurious designer element to your look. YES, they are worth the price. I get that question all the time. If you are looking for a similar, less expensive version, I recommend these slide sandals.

I love this blouse….the colors are beautiful and I love a longer sleeve since it’s always so chilly inside restaurants or stores.
