How to Style a Pair of Boyfriend Jeans
First, let’s talk about the fit. Order your regular size jean and then your boyfriend jeans will fit perfectly. This ensures that the jeans fit at your waist with a more relaxed fit in the legs. Boyfriend jeans will not fit like your skinny jeans and that is the goal. My favorite pair of boyfriend jeans are these J Brand jeans. They come in three shade of denim wash or this super light wash. The fit of these jeans is amazing. I love that the J Brand jeans are not as baggy as most boyfriend jeans. They are more tailored to still give you that feminine shape. Another plus is that the denim fabric is super soft and has a little bit of stretch for that extra comfortable feel.
Now let’s look at how to style your boyfriend jeans. If I want a more casual look, I wear this Tuckernuck poplin top paired with these slide sandals (comes in 5 colors). Get $60 off your first order from M.Gemi with code TANYA60. They have fabulous Italian leather shoes for men and women. I like to cuff the hem for a relaxed feel. As you can see in the pictures above, you can either tuck in the top or leave it out. Both looks give you that casual chic vibe. For a more casual bag, I love this straw tote (on SALE for 50% off!).
For a dressier look, I love to wear this Hale Bob silk blouse (on SALE right now) and a nude heel. The combination of the silk and heel really elevate the look. For this style, I do not cuff the hem of my jeans – I wear them long. To complete the look, I love to add a trendy picnic safari bag (mine is old, but similar is linked).
