LAFCOLAFCOLAFCO

What candle fragrance a person burns says a lot about them. Don’t you think? My absolute favorite candle is LAFCO Marine Bathroom. I wonder what that says about me.

Before you judge me, I want you to try it. The Marine Bathroom candle smells like clean air by the sea. It makes your entire house smell fresh. I absolutely love it and have burned it in our home for years. Recently, I was invited to the LAFCO boutique in Highland Park Village to learn about their body care collection. LAFCO has expanded from candles and soaps to include liquid body soap and body cream. I tried several scents with store manager Ashley Merritt and I was pleasantly surprised. The products are free of dyes, silicones and paragons. After sampling many of the products and scents, I opted for the champagne body cream and liquid body soap. And while I was at it, I added a champagne penthouse candle to burn as well. It smells clean and sparkling; with notes of ginger, grapefruit, lemon, and raspberry. I’ve been using it for a few weeks and I really like how creamy the lotion is.

LAFCO candles burn cleanly an average of 90 hours with vegan wax and the glass jars are reusable. I often use them for cotton balls or q-tips.  The candles make great gifts and I stock them in my gift closet. Stop by the Highland Park Village boutique to sample all the fragrances or order online here. I love the great gift baskets that the boutique puts together (top picture). What a wonderful gift idea. Hint, hint!

What’s your favorite scent?  xoxo- Tanya

P.S. I am thrilled that D Magazine profiled me. Well really they profiled my calendar and organization style. See it here.
