Time to have some real talk on here. Let’s just get it out in the open. I’m a chesty girl! I always have been. That’s why what I wear underneath my clothes really matters. Today I’m going to show you some of my favorite bras, panties and sleepwear.
I’ve never been a gal that goes braless. NEVER – my entire life! It’s just not in the cards for me. No one wants to see that nor should you subject them to it, especially when you are busty. Instead, I invest in quality undergarments and make sure that I get a bra fit done once a year. Did you know that if you gain or lose 5 pounds, your bra shifts and doesn’t fit properly? I learned this on a recent trip to visit the Soma headquarters in Florida. I went to one of the Soma stores and got a complete education on bras.
What I love about Soma is that they make different kinds of bras for different women, clothing and occasions. For example, everyone should have a t-shirt bra in their wardrobe. The vanishing back bra is amazing because it literally smooths out your back. Perfect for those summer tees. I also love their full coverage embraceable bra. You’ll notice that I typically have nude bras because they work with everything. However, my absolute favorite bra is the black sensuous lace unlined bra. It fits so well and does wonders for me.
While I’m typically a thong girl, I did like learning about their new vanishing edge panties. You can not see any panty lines with these. Again, I tend to stick with nude in panties because I never want you to see them no matter what I have on.
Now, lets talk about what I sleep in. I have always been a cotton or soft fabric girl. Never silk or satin. I love the feel of soft cotton on skin. And always a short sleep shirt. I can’t wear anything long or pajamas to bed. There’s something so constraining about having anything around my legs. I love the Cool Nights Sleepwear Collection. They do make pajamas and I do wear those as loungewear. You know, what you change into at the end of the day or hang out in on the weekend. They also make robes to go back with the collection.
I find that everything I get from Soma is of the highest quality and well worth the price. Now, for the million dollar question…
What do you sleep in? xoxo – Tanya

Enjoyed this post. I too am fairly busty, yet thin (30DD). I’ve have always loved beautiful bras and recently bought some Simone Perele. Very comfortable and a great fit (Nordies of course!)
Thanks for letting me know. I’ve never heard of that brand but will check it out.
xoxo- Tanya 🙂
She’s 100% right on this one. I’d share the husband’s perspective with you, but I’m not allowed to. 🙁 Let me just say, ” Doesn’t she look fabulous all the time?”
🙂
I’m a Rhonda Shear Ahhh bra girl. You step in no wires no straps or hooks to adjust no back or underarm fat. Heaven! I’ve tried other brands such as Spanx and Yummie and they don’t work for fuller cup gals. I’ve thrown out all my constructed underwire bras out. I’m 34 D and I get support and shape. Also wear her panties she has seamless high waist briefs that are like soma also love her lacy tap pants!
I sleep in an ahh bra with my strappy nightgown, my bra matches my gowns.
I find everyone has different fit and comfort issues so it’s good we have such wide choices now versus what we had 10 years ago!
Really? I will have to check it out.

And this is why I love your blog – you do keep it real! 32DDD here and it’s so true about buying quality undergarments. They make everything look better!
Awe, thank you so much Julie. Being transparent on this little space is super important to me.
Thanks for sharing your view point. I appreciate the comment!

I agree with all your bra choices, which I wear for a really good foundation during the week, but on weekends I also wear the aaah bra from Rhonda Sheer. Someone gave me some when I couldn’t use my hand to fasten a bra. (I can now, but I still love the aaah bra). It’s cotton, holds you well, no bra bulge and you step into it. Looks great with t-shirts, no see thru. I purchase nothing but nude and black underwear. I’m with you on sleepwear. I love short cotton gowns, usually from Soma. The only difference is I will wear soft and all cotton pajamas. I didn’t think I would like them, but another gift. I tried them and in the winter, they are warm and cozy and I don’t get hot. Nothing but soft cotton. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing!’ I’m a 34 DDD and I totally understand. I always wear a bra!
Agree on the importance of great undergarments. I’m 36/38 H/I almost IMPOSSIBLE to find anything so it also effects what outer clothing I can wear (I never seem to be able to find nude or smooth cups). One brand I was wearing by Dillards has been discontinued. And the Wacoal french seamed minimizer was discontinued. Now I’m long over due. I agree w/ every 5 lbs and yearly fittings. And completely out of luck.
