Meet Cathy Williamson with The Middle Page
Name of your blog: The Middle Page
When did you start a blog? I started my blog in April of 2013. I started it as a fashion / lifestyle blog for women over 40, but two months later it turned into fashion and breast cancer.
What three words best describe your personal style? jeans, jeans, and more jeans!
Has starting a blog has changed your personal style at all? How? Yes, but not intentionally. Going through chemotherapy quickly changed my look. I was wearing a lot of head scarves, beanies, hair pieces and wigs which was a challenge trying to dress around. Now that my hair is growing back and is short, I have “girled” it up a bit more. Let’s just say that in it’s first year, it was a mixture of a few different styles!!!
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? Greece
When traveling, what are your travel essentials? Oh my gosh…this is such a hard one for me! I have packing anxiety and always take too much! I have to have my huge black pashmina for airports and planes, sunscreen always, comfortable shoes, and most of my bathroom goes with me!!!
A filter says a lot about a person. What apps/filters do you use on Instagram? I use Snapseed and A Beautiful Mess. On Instagram, I really like the Normal, Hefe, Lo-Fi, and Nashville filters.
Do you have any advice for your fellow bloggers? My advice to fellow bloggers is to just have fun! I found out last year how life can change in a second.
Fall fashion trend that you are most looking forward to? I can’t pick one! The colors gray and green, leather and booties!
