Happy National Gardening Day! With spring weather in full swing, now is the perfect time to start your own beautiful home garden. Plus, it is the best way to celebrate the holiday. The key to making gardening the most effective and enjoyable is to have the proper supplies. Today I want to share with you my favorite gardening shoes and tools that have been a game changer!
National Gardening Day
You may remember that I started my herb and tomato garden during shelter in place last year, and ever since I have kept it up. If you missed the post, read about how to start your own tomato and herb garden HERE. This year, I decided to up my game and get new supplies to make my gardening life easier. One thing I found I really needed was a great gardening shoe. These Easy Spirit Martha Stewart Tgarden clogs are the best! They are comfortable to wear for hours, have an easy clean design for all weather and dirt, plus they are made out of no-slip rubber. I also love the cute color choices! I also love these rain boots. They come in three colors, are very comfortable and are great for those rainy days.
Besides finding comfortable shoes to wear, you also need something for your knees when you are gardening for hours. This Martha Stewart kneeling pad is incredible. It is the perfect thickness and squish to keep your knees stable and comfortable. Other products that I have found to work great are these no-slip gardening gloves, this gardening shovel, and this canvas gardening bag. I even updated my planters this year to these 12 in. garden planters. Consistently updating your gardening tools really makes a difference.
If you need some additional pro tips and tricks to gardening, I recommend this Martha Stewart gardening book. Also, don’t forget to read my gardening tips HERE. If you are local to the Dallas area, I love to shop for garden supplies at Nicholson-Hardie. They are a family owned business and just lovely to visit.
I hope you garden in the sunshine for National Gardening Day! Enjoy!
