Blogging can be a lonely world. Think about it. I work at home by myself curating partnerships with brands and working on future collaborations while writing this daily post. One of the things that has been rewarding is meeting new people and forging new friendships. I met one such lady at the rewardStyle conference I attended in April. Together we are showing you how we styled our most recent purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Today I’m introducing you to Amanda Miller  – The Miller Affect.

Amanda Miller is a fashion blogger by night and a Treasury Analyst for an oil and gas company by day. The 5’11” beauty is from East Texas and has called Dallas her home for a while. I admire young ladies who are ambitious and have their act together. Amanda is one of those gals! She has a group of blogger friends that are her age but she was kind enough to do this collaborative post with me. Believe me, I am old enough to be her mother!

When talking about how to tackle this post we decided to each order our personal style from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The hard part is presenting you with information and products that haven’t sold out. Believe me, the stuff is flying off shelves! We check supplies daily.

I stuck with my typical style of a dress with heels accented with a denim jacket. I also love this Coach bag because it’s the perfect size! I am wearing the dress in a size 3 (I size up on anything with a curve-hugging silhouette). And I always wear Spanx underneath this type of dress. They’re also on sale! This ensemble is perfect for date night with Mr. Foster, a night out with girlfriends or brunch on Sunday. Amanda’s style is much edgier than mine and I ordered everything she has on for my college daughter. She has a great eye! Both looks were perfect for our afternoon having rose at Mercat Bistro.
