Here’s the deal. When someone donates money or services to something I am involved with, I take note and really try to reciprocate. You know by reading this blog that the John Wayne Film Festival was held April 24-27. The wonderful owner of The Slow Bone, Jack Perkins, donated and served us Sunday brunch. Not only was it absolutely delicious, it made me take notice and want to frequent his establishment. So, I popped in unannounced to have lunch this week. Jack was there and I got to personally thank him for his support of the JWFF while enjoying his BBQ. Yes, that tray of food is mine. I love that the restaurant serves your food on a cafeteria tray. Pop over for lunch soon because they are not open for dinner (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily). I liked it so much that I bought some BBQ to take home for dinner. Delicious!
