I can’t believe I actually traveled this past week! Pete and I ventured out west to Sonoma Wine Country in California for a quick trip. It definitely felt odd to fly, but we always wore a mask and felt safe the whole trip. The airlines are taking many precautions, hoping to alleviate any fears travelers may have. I will write another blog post detailing the trip soon but first I want to share my Sonoma packing list. Below are the items and looks I curated prior to heading out. Also be sure to check out my list of travel essentials and gadgets to help make travel easier.
If you want a little sneak peek of the trip, simply click on my Instagram and you will see the pictures I posted. Also, be sure to check out my ‘Sonoma’ Instagram stories which is saved here.

Sonoma Packing List – Casual Looks
I’ll start out with a more casual look. I love pairing a simple white tee with my favorite J Brand jeans (on sale – fit is true to size). To elevate a simple jeans and tee look, I added an Hermes scarf (learn all the ways to tie them here), matching Hadleigh’s loafers (40% off for a limited time), and a Louis Vuitton crossbody. The finishing touch are my favorite Allie + Bess bracelets. Bonus: You can wear these bracelets while traveling. They do not set off the TSA security alarm.

A staple for my trip was this Sail to Sable blouse. I love the ruffle neck and the added fringe detailing. It is the perfect breezy blouse for summertime. I’m wearing size small and fit is true to size. You can pair it with jeans or a pair of denim girlfriend shorts depending on the weather. I added gold Daphne knot sandals or these Cecelia New York sandals to these looks plus my favorite straw clutch. Now just add fun accessories, like a straw hat.

Sonoma Packing List – Dresses
The perfect dress for this trip was this chambray blue Tuckernuck dress (wearing size medium). It is casual, cute and comfortable and it comes in two more colors. I love to pair it with these Daphne knot sandals or these TKEES for a more casual look. I wear the custard color in TKEES, which is a perfect neutral that goes with everything. I pair this look with a straw bag and accessories that I linked below.

A must-have item that’s great not only for your Sonoma packing list, but any packing list is this Sail to Sable embroidered dress. This dress comes in a similar version in white that I highlighted here. This is the easiest dress to dress up or down. I love the embroidered detailing! I’m wearing size small but if you are between sizes, I suggest going up. Look at a larger selection of embroidered dresses for your upcoming trips here. It’s easy to mix and match different accessories. I linked my favorites below.

This cowl neck dress is the perfect addition to your Sonoma packing list. It comes in two color options and has chic buttons down the back. I pair this dress with these Cecelia NY gold sandals or these Daphne knot sandals and a clutch. For a more casual summer look I recommend this straw clutch and for dressier events I love this Italian leather clutch. I also love these Julie Vos bracelets to complete the whole look. This dress is perfect for dinner.

NOT FOR PUBLICATION! But your email reads: The airlines are taking many precautions, hoping to elevate any fears travelers may have.
I think you mean alleviate or maybe allay. I can’t imagine the airlines want to elevate fears any more than the COVID virus already has.
Great packing list! I look forward to your description of flying out of the DFW area with Texas a hotspot.
Guten Tag Frau Tanya! Danke for deine sommer urlaub blog!
Du bist immer hubsch, ~ xo
