OK, I’ve either lost my mind or I’m having a flash back to the best era – the 80’s! Flare jeans, graphic tee’s, aviator sunglasses… you get it. I’ve updated it a little with some modern pieces but all in all, it’s a retro vibe today. BONUS: I’m including a picture of me in college, circa 1986. Enjoy!
You’ve seen these jeans before in this blog post. Which shows you that I wear my clothes over and over again, simply adjusting the style components for a new look. Graphic tee’s are huge this season and I absolutely love them. This particular one I found because Kelly Ripa wore in on Live with Kelly and Ryan one morning. I’ve linked the website for you here. But I did find a bevy of great graphic tees readily available and I have linked them below. I thought the Gucci slippers added a modern touch.
This whole look takes me back to the 80’s. Now, if I could just find my hot rollers and get my hair bigger. But then again, I was getting perms back in the day to achieve that volume. Enjoy the flashback photo at the bottom of this post. You’re welcome!

flashback to 1986
Graphic tee and high-waisted denim in an acid wash. I’m pretty sure I have on white high top Reebok tennis shoes with this outfit. And you know I have on white scrunch socks. This photo was taken at my apartment at the University of North Texas. My parents were visiting me.
Big hair, don’t care. GAWD, I love the 80’s!

Dynasty! Copied Linda Evans hairstyle and tried to dress like her for work! Loved her ladylike looks for work.
Oh no question, Miami Vice!❤️ I had the white jacket and Don Johnson was drool worthy. Can I just add on here that my husband and I saw Pat Benatar in concert last year and that woman is still killing it. She played for two hours and sounded amazing. She gets no credit for leading the way for female rockers. ❤️
I absolutely love Golden Girls! The one liners, the attitude, everything!
Knots Landing!
I love all the retro 80’s styles are popular right now. Takes me back to my HS and college days. My Daughter wants a Rolling Stones tee and I laugh because she doesn’t even listen too them. I told her get a Clash tee, they were way cooler.

Dallas, Dynasty, and Falcon Crest were my favorite shows. Oh and daytime was watching Luke and Laura on General Hospital! 🙂
Oh my goodness. DALLAS was my favorite show, hands down. It was on Friday nights and caused some conflict with my hubby as we did not have a VCR and thus, I didn’t wish to go anywhere on Friday nights. I HAD to stay home to watch DALLAS!
