Happy Wednesday! Do you have any fall weddings or events coming up? One of the most popular questions I have been getting on Instagram is ‘what should I wear to a fall wedding?’ Ask and you shall receive! I have curated a list of the best fall wedding guest dresses to make you look and feel your best. Detailed below are some of my personal favorite dresses, plus I have a variety of dresses in various styles and price points in the boutique at the bottom of the page.
Fall Wedding Guest Dresses
So…what exactly do you wear to a fall wedding? Fall florals and patterns are a definite yes for a fall wedding, especially if the wedding is outdoors. As far as solids go, colors like navy, forest green, chocolate browns, deep purples and rust tones will all work. A good rule of thumb is to stick to darker jewel tones. I often get asked if you can wear black to a wedding. Typically black is better for a winter wedding, but you can definitely wear black to a fall wedding as well. Just make sure to add a splash of color with your shoes or accessories so it does not look like you’re attending a funeral. Another color that is a hot trend this fall? RED. You will be seeing it everywhere, especially at weddings!
One of my top picks for fall wedding guest dresses is this red lace dress (size S). I cannot say enough great things about this dress! The gorgeous flower lace details, the flattering A line fit, and the bow neck detail gives you an effortless elegance. Plus, it’s in the most gorgeous shade of red! This is also a great dress to wear to a holiday party. It is so versatile and looks great on all body types. The dress comes in several other colors as well. I love it so much that I also own it in this blue shade.
If you’re someone that prefers sleeves, then you’re in luck! This red dress also comes in this 3/4 length sleeve option, which I own in black. It also comes in white (perfect for a bride), and navy. It’s a dress that you can easily wear from fall into winter (It’s never too early to think about winter weddings and holiday parties). If you prefer a version of the dress without the lace, then you will love this poppy red dress. It still has the gorgeous tie neck, so it’s still dressy enough for a semi-formal event. It comes in several color options.
Below are even more gorgeous fall wedding guest dresses. Which ones are your favorites? xoxo – Tanya

Tanya just read NYSD today they had a how to dress for wedding guest. Red is a No, because it’s too attention getting it’s like don’t wear white. Black is ok only after 5 pm for a formal wedding too. Check out the post
