Are you ready to get rid of your eyebrow pencil and never have to touch your eyebrows again? Aren’t we all in pursuit of the perfect eyebrow? Look no further. The Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics does mircroblading and I’m showing you my results today.
I first told you about microblading in this blog post with pictures about the procedure. I always promise that there will be a follow-up post with before and after pictures. Now remember, these pictures are taken at the doctor’s office and come across very sterile (almost like a mug shot). It’s actually hard to take these pictures without cracking up. You can clearly see the difference in the two pictures. Microblading fills in where your own brows are sparse allowing you to have perfect eyebrows. Charlene does such a good job sculpting them to blend with your natural shape and arch.
About the procedure: Microblading is a form of tattooing. Unlike a regular tattoo, microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. Hair-like strokes are drawn with the tool to mimic natural hairs in your brows. Even though it’s not as deep as the regular tattoo, it’s still a tattoo because pigment is implanted under the skin. Charlene Wilson, C.M.E. is an artist with this tool! She puts numbing cream on your eyebrows first and then proceeds to match your color. After all, she is enhancing your eyebrows and filling in as needed. You want a perfect color match. Next, Charlene used the microblading tool (it looks like a small exacto knife) to make hair-like strokes in your eyebrows. The dye is applied and soon you are done. It doesn’t hurt at all it just feels like someone is scratching at your eyebrows. There is no down time. Just take it easy and apply the aftercare ointment for the next few days. Brows look slightly darker at first but will fade a little after three days. You will have perfectly shaped brows for the next two years. To see some more before and after pictures, click here.
I highly encourage you to check out this new service at the Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics. This is a procedure you definitely want done in a doctor’s office.
