Dress: Kendall + Kylie / Shoes: Aquazzura / Bag: Claire V. (similar here and I love this animal print one and for less here) / Sunglasses: Dior / Cuff: Hermes
I’ve finally figured out a way to wear a short skirt or dress without showing too much leg. Or without looking like I’m trying to be twenty years old. It’s the illusion of a short hemline woven into the silhouette of a more modest piece. This laser cut dress does the trick!
You might have noticed this dress in yesterday’s post about NYFW. I quickly purchased it while in New York to wear to a party. It’s easy, has a lot of stretch and a great piece to add to your wardrobe. I like it with nude heels and a clutch bag. It would even be great with a little animal print added to it like with this clutch bag. This bordeaux color is huge for fall so it also updated my wardrobe. I love the illusion of a short hemline without having to show too much leg. At my age, that really matters!
That’s all I’ve got today. I have to skedaddle because I’m off to meet Reese Witherspoon. You heard right! xoxo – Tanya
