If a celebrity hair stylist invited you to his brand experience studio and offered to make you a “fabulous blonde” would you do it? I did and I’m excited to introduce you to Justin Anderson who Vogue anointed as “a rising star of blonde Hollywood.” Meet the creative director of dpHUE and find out why blondes have more fun!

I met Justin last year at an event at ULTA when he was promoting his dpHUE line. You instantly fall in love with him and his charming personality.  We followed each other on Instagram and kept in touch so when I told him I would be in L.A. for a wedding he immediately said you must come to the dpHUE House and I’ll make you the most fabulous blonde! Two things struck me about this comment. 1) Justin must think I’m famous and 2) I’m already blonde. I think he is confused about point number one but hey, I’m not one to turn down a personal invitation from the color guru who touches the locks of Jennifer Aniston.

Anderson is a colorist at the Chris McMillan Salon in Beverly Hills and I’m not kidding when I say he is the hair colorist to famous Hollywood celebrities. His client list includes Kim Basinger, Kirsten Dunst, Leighton Meester, Emma Roberts, Miley Cyrus, Kristin Cavallari and many more. To get an appointment with him means you have ‘arrived’. He’s also the Creative Director behind the dpHUE brand most known for their at home Root Touch Up Kit. The kit enables you to cover your own roots in between salon appointments and for me its been a game changer. My hair grows like weeds and to my horror, gray hair appears instantly. So when we met at the dpHUE House, I actually used the kit to cover my own roots (see video below) and then Justin and his team highlighted my hair. You see the beautiful results in the pictures above. The before and after pictures of my hair are at the end of the video. What a difference!

The dpHUE House located in West Hollywood is an invite only hair experience where Justin works with only one client at a time. It’s a special treat – just read this article about who has been there, so when I was invited I jumped on the chance to go. Celebrities, influencers and “people we want to hang out with” are invited to experience the dpHUE brand. If you ask me its brilliant! And so very special. Justin takes a picture with each client and if you look at the dpHUE Instagram he is typically in his signature apron. There is one common thread to all these pictures. The end result is always beautiful hair.

dpHUE makes an entire line of hair care products that I am now using and I am linking for you below. Their dry shampoo is one of the best I have ever tried and really works. A huge thank you to Justin and his entire team for the invitation. Blondes really do have more fun, especially at the dpHUE House! Click here for more on the subject.

xoxo – Tanya

P.S Be sure to follow Justin on Instagram and watch his IG stories. He is hilarious!

About Justin Anderson:

As Anita Loos famously said, “gentlemen prefer blondes,” and colorist  Justin Anderson has made it his mantra. Born and reared in the sunny climes of Southern California, Anderson grew up near and in the water, surfing with his parents and siblings. “I was fascinated with the sun’s effect on hair,” he recalls. “The way that ocean water and the sun naturally lightened hair has always intrigued me. So when I decided to pursue a career in hair color, I apprenticed myself to two of Hollywood’s leading blonde experts, Johnathan Gale of the Serge Normant Salon and Sheri Roman of the Art Luna Salon.”

With his blonde ambition in tow, Anderson graduated to his own chair at the Neil George Salon, and Vogue anointed him “a rising star of blonde Hollywood.” With clients including Miley Cyrus, kelly Osbourne, Emma Roberts, Leighton Meester, Jennifer aniston, Ireland Baldwin, Nicola Peltz, Kim Basinger, Kirsten Dunst, Kristin Cavallari, Jenna Elfman and LeAnn Rimes, Anderson has lightened the mood and haircolor of a wide swath of Hollywood celebrities.
