Happy Hump Day! I’m so excited to be back in Dallas.Tonight there is a special screening event and Happy Hour for my subscribers. I hope you RSVP right when the e-mail invitation came out last week. Can’t wait to meet you in person! I’m just back from the Sundance Film Festival and although it’s only Wednesday, let’s talk about casual weekend style.
Y’all, we saw 6 World Premiere films at Sundance Film Festival! Hopefully these will all get bought and go into distribution so that you can see them in a movie theater or on Netflix. They included: SISTER AIMEE (this is the same production team that did THE MINK CATCHER – in which I had a small role), EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIN AND VILE (this is about Ted Bundy as told from the perspective of his girlfriend Liz – starring Zac Efron and Lilly Collins), TIGERLAND (a documentary film about the shrinking of the tiger population and the conservation efforts to save them), LUCE(a beautiful film about an African-American teen who is raised by white parents and the struggle to be a high-achieving high school leader), BIG TIME ADOLESCENCE (starring Pete Davidson of SNL; a comedy about coming of age and all that it means) and OFFICIAL SECRETS (Starring Kira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes; based on the true story of Katherine Gunn – a translator who works at GCHQ in London and becomes a whistleblower when asked to spy on diplomats). We had such a great time catching up with our friends and film buddies! Park City, Utah is always fun.
I know it’s not the weekend although it feels like it since I got home late yesterday. This casual line of comfortable clothes is exactly what I would love to have on today except I’m in meetings all day long. But rest assured, I will be in an outfit just like this combo this weekend. It’s perfect for running errands, going to a movie, or just hanging out around the house. I love this blue hydrangea waffle tank and cardigan (comes in 7 colors) paired back with the cropped leggings. The floral scarf ties it all together. I found several more pieces that I am linking below as well. I wear this type of look with my super comfy Adidas Superstar sneakers. Be sure to size down one size. They run large! By the way, all of these pieces make an excellent travel outfit too.
What’s your go-to style for the weekend? xoxo – Tanya
P.S. It’s January 30 so I will give away a surprise box! Today, leave me a comment about your weekend style and what size you are in casual clothing. (Small, Medium or Large). You might just WIN!

My casual stay at home comfy style is DG2 stretchy jeans, a Curations faded t shirt, a lightweight cashmere poncho and my platform sneaker mules with Pom poms. My jeans are as comfy as yoga pants they’re so soft. Oh and I wear a Rhonda Shear ahh bra, no underwire when doing comfy casual. I’m same size as you Tanya.
Love your haircut this one is even better than the first!
I’m going to try that am growing my bob out.
Thank you Kris. And thanks for all the input.
Great selections!

I love this! What a great reminder that a scarf can pull a look together. I gravitate to Lulu on weekends and forget that this style can be just as comfortable, but look much more put together. Thank you for the inspiration for this weekend. i know I will be feeling comfortable, but looking sharp!
For weekend wear I like cute jeans and a light sweater and booties or sneakers! Or yoga pants and a long top that covers! I am usually a large!
Love, love your blue cardigan – so cute!
My weekend style depends on where I happen to be! Right now, we are in year one of bi-coastal “living near grandkids” — which happen to be in Portland, OR, and mid-coast ME! So comfort with style (leggings with a twist: side stripe, camo print or comfy jeans. Bottoms that can tuck into Hunter boots (west coast rain) or Sorel’s (east coast snow). And then, layers — I tend to stick to classic shapes and colors. Light sweaters, a white shirt, good turtleneck and just add a fun scarf! I’m a size M. Just found your blog last year and love your look so it’s fun. AND I want your hair!
All great selections Christine!

Loved following along your trip to the Sundance Film Festival! I’ve always thought that would be so much fun! I tend to be casual most of the time..skinny jeans, sweaters and booties or slip-on sneakers. I also like some athleisure pieces from Athleta. This is such a cute look on you!
Jeans & either a longer cardigan or sweater with booties are my typical errands running clothes. If around the house, leggings and a comfy sweatshirt. I purchased glitter sneaks and wear these for fun both in and out & about!!!! Wear a size L!
