Today you are getting a little peek into my weekend lifestyle. I’m a casual gal but I like to keep it classic with some great staples.
Most weekends you will find me with my hair pulled back in a ponytail and very little make-up on. We’ve loved having the college kids home for the summer but they have busy plans on the weekends and we default to our empty nester lifestyle. Typically, we get caught up on movies, eat out, shop and just enjoy each others company. If you are in Dallas, I want to share two spots that we love. Village Baking Co. is a french bakery that we like to frequent for fresh breads and pastries. Their chocolate and jambon croissants are to die for. I’m pretty sure there is a stick of butter in just one croissant. Oddfellows is a great place in the Bishop Arts District for Sunday brunch. Try their chicken and waffles – to die for as seen on my Instagram picture.
I am loving these Elaine Turner Lilly sandals in mint. They are super comfortable and I love mint as an accent color. And the Sabine raffia tote is the perfect bag to bring home my baked goods as well as an awesome beach bag. These skinny jeans on the Nordstrom sale and white cotton shirt complete the casual style. And I am obsessed with all of these Kate Spade NY idiom bangle bracelets. They have positive messages engraved on the inside and I love to stack them. Be sure to check out the Elaine Turner website today because they have an incredible SALE going on. 60% OFF during their semi-annual handbag and apparel sale. My shoes and tote are both on the sale as well as so much more. The sale ends TODAY, July 20th so pop on over there now! Here is an extra special perk for my readers. Use code “FilmFashionFun” for 20% off the entire site for ONE WEEK (7/20-7/27).
