Hello and Happy Groundhog Day! Maybe in honor of the “holiday” we should all watch the 90’s classic. Thoughts? Today I want to look at what to wear for a Zoom meeting or interview. I know so many of you are still working from home, so how do you dress to impress from across a computer screen? Dressing for work and meetings is still important to maintain professionalism. Plus, getting ready everyday keeps you motivated. Bonus: You can dress casual on the bottom. Gotta love that computers only show the top half! Also, read all the way through for a SALE ALERT.
What to Wear for a Zoom Meeting or Interview
Let’s start with the simple fact… you want to wear something that is work appropriate, but also flattering. This Tahari ruffled blouse is the perfect option. I wear it with this Tahari cardigan jacket for a chic and business professional look (and both are on SALE). The blue blouse is sold out, but you will love this gorgeous ivory color. For a Zoom interview, you don’t want to wear anything too bright or distracting, so this look is perfect. The last thing you want during a Zoom meeting or interview is for everyone to be more focused on your top rather than what you’re actually saying.
Now, what to wear for a Zoom meeting on the bottom? I love to go comfy, but still complete my look so I’m ready to run errands or meet a friend for lunch. It also helps me to mentally feel more put together. For the look above, I am wearing these Veronica Beard high-rise straight jeans. They are so comfortable and perfect if you have to sit all day. The high-waisted pant is the perfect style to tuck in the ruffled blouse, allowing the cardigan jacket to fall at your hips. This makes a flattering line. To complete the look, I wear these comfortable suede loafers.
SALE ALERT: Today is the last day of Tahari Anniversary Sale! Get 40% OFF with code HAPPY40.

P.S. If you’re going somewhere for your Zoom meeting, use this Barrington tote bag to carry all of your things. It is the perfect size for a laptop!
