Howdy and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a nice weekend. To start off the week, I want to share my thoughts on the home diffusers I’ve been using over the past several months. I get a lot of questions about which ones I like, so I decided to make a full post about it. It can be hard to tell which one will work best in your space, and these three all offer something different. I use them in different areas of my home, so let’s talk about how each one works and what I like about it!
Best Home Diffusers
1. Aura House Scent Diffuser – best for a signature home scent
If your goal is that beautiful hotel-lobby scent, start with the Aura House Scent Diffuser. This diffuser dispenses scent throughout larger spaces, so it will give you more potency than other diffusers. Also, the design of the diffuser is chic and easy to blend in with your home decor.
It’s simple to use: you put a bottle of fragrance oil into the machine, and it uses cold air to disperse the scent. No water needed! It runs in short bursts with pauses in between, and you can adjust the intensity depending on how much fragrance you want. There’s a soft sound when it runs, as well as a subtle, visible mist, but I don’t find it distracting. Aura House says it’s designed for spaces of 650 square feet or more, although your home’s layout will make a difference.
Although you can turn the diffuser on and off manually, I highly recommend using the Aura House app! It connects through Bluetooth and lets me adjust the intensity or set a schedule right from my phone. Once I’ve set it, I don’t have to remember to turn the diffuser on or off each day. I can also turn it on from another room whenever I want. The app lets me order new fragrance oils and tracks when I’m running low, which is so convenient! I currently have Coast, Dubai, and Antibes, and I’m already looking forward to trying another scent.
Even better is that I have a discount code for my followers. Use code TANYA10 for 10% off all regular-priced orders. Shop here!
For that signature home scent you’re looking for, Aura House is for you.
2. Pura Home Diffuser – best discreet diffuser
If you want your home to smell good without a diffuser sitting out, Pura is a great option. The Pura Home plugs right into an outlet, so it doesn’t take up any counter space. I especially like using it in rooms where I want a little fragrance without drawing attention to the machine or for rooms with limited extra counter space.
The scents are emitted through the diffuser by gently warming the fragrance, which then circulates the scent into the room. There is no water needed, plus the diffuser does not make a sound nor will you see any visible mist. It’s such a discreet way to add fragrance!
Another perk? It holds two fragrance vials at once. If you like changing your home fragrance with the season, or even throughout the day, you can switch scents without swapping the vials. I personally love Cozy Cashmere and Frasier Fir, especially around the holidays!
They also have a convenient app. The Pura app connects through Wi-Fi, so I can adjust my diffusers even when I’m away from home. I can choose a scent, change its intensity, and set a schedule right from my phone. Want one fragrance in the morning and another when you’re winding down at night? You can do that! If you have multiple Pura diffusers, you can name them by room and manage each one in the app. It also helps me keep track of when I need new vials and makes ordering easier.
While I own the Pura Home, the diffusers also come in a mini size for smaller spaces, a plus size for larger spaces, and a cordless vehicle version, making it easy to customize your home the way you want to. You can select which one is best for you here.
For convenience and a subtle look, Pura is a great choice.
3. Canopy Air Purifiers – best air purifier and diffuser combo
The Canopy Air Purifier works a little differently from the other two. It’s an air purifier with a built-in aroma diffuser, so you get a softer scent while it filters the air. I like using this one in a bedroom, where I want the fragrance to be subtle and appreciate having fresher air, too!
There’s no app to set up. You can choose from three fan speeds, but I usually select ‘Auto’ and let it adjust based on the air quality in the room. An indicator light shows you how the air is doing: green is good, yellow is moderate, and red means the purifier is working harder to clear it. I also like the gentle white noise from the fan. It’s great for when I’m sleeping. Depending on your space, you can stand the purifier upright or lay it flat on a nightstand or another convenient spot. It can go on the floor next to a bed, on a nightstand, or wherever is most convenient for you.
To add fragrance, put a few drops of aroma oil on the felt diffuser and place it in the machine. The scent is light, which is perfect for a bedroom. If you want a stronger fragrance throughout a larger space, I’d choose one of the other diffusers. I personally own the Canopy x Weezie Air Purifier collab version, which has two scents I think are perfect for a fresh home: Tub Time has soft cotton and floral notes, while Towel Time is breezy and coastal. Also, you know how much we love all of our Weezie towels. They are in every bathroom so this collaboration was a no brainer. They even monogram for you. Click HERE to order towels.
If you want an air purifier that adds a little fragrance to your room, this is such a nice two-in-one option!

So, which one should you choose? If you want the biggest fragrance impact, I’d go with Aura House. For the most flexibility with scents and space, I’d pick Pura. And if you want a gentle scent alongside an air purifier, Canopy is a nice fit. Or you can be like me and use all three in different parts of your home!
Make it a great day! xoxo – Tanya
