Hi everyone! Brooke here again to take over the blog and chat about work wear. Tanya and I found the perfect dress for the office and wanted to show you how we styled it. She gets this question all the time so I thought I would tackle it today and show you how to style work wear at any age.
As a blogger, Tanya can wear anything that is chic and stylish on any given day. And as her assistant, I can do the same. However, many of you work in professional offices and ask us all the time ‘what can I wear to the office that is both stylish and functional’. We think a navy dress is a great option for anyone!
Today I am wearing this beautiful Eliza J fit and flare dress. This tiered dress is super comfortable with a great, thick fabric that is ideal for a full day of work. It has a fun keyhole detailing on the back (bra does not show), or throw on a blazer/jacket to make it more professional! I styled this navy dress with basic nude pointed toe heels to keep it chic. I accessorized the look with my gold Kendra Scott earrings that are always a great go-to. If you haven’t added these to your closet yet, you should! They go with any outfit and tie the whole look together. For my work bag, I grabbed this oversized Michael Kors tote that has a top handle as well as a strap to wear it like a briefcase. It is a great size to carry your laptop, charger, files, and anything else you will need. This exact bag I purchased years ago, but I have linked a similar style for you as well. And of course, I complete my everyday look with aviator sunglasses and a pop of matte lipstick.
There you have it. I’m ready for an 8 hour day in any office. I hope you liked how I styled work wear! There are also several other navy dresses linked for you that would be great for the office as well. Would you like more posts like this?
