Hello Monday! How was your weekend? We just completed a little home renovation here at Casa Foster and the Pete and I spent all weekend hanging things and putting rooms back together. I forgot how much work it is to do this type of project. Whew! Today I’m going to show you a look that is always in style – all black! And these new black jeans are so flattering that you will want to order them immediately. Trust me!
When I wear these jeans people who know me ask me if I have lost weight. Are you kidding? We are coming off the holidays and the month of January (hello, birthday month). Needless to say, NO I have not lost weight. But the jeans are so amazing and instantly slenderize you! They are the Parker Smith Button Fly Bombshell in Onyx and I highly recommend them. The fit is true to size. I decided to pair them with an oversized black sweater (size down – I’m wearing size Small), black leather bomber jacket (on SALE – 40% OFF!) and these black booties (sold out) that I got last summer during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I’ve linked a similar pair for you that are from the same brand (also available here). By the way, invest in a chic pair of black sunglasses. They will never go out of style.
I have this theory. You can never go wrong with wearing all black. It’s chic, slenderizing and always in style. When I am indecisive about what to wear or having a mini fashion crisis in my closet, this is a safe plan. In fact, any monochromatic look will always serve you well. It’s easy on the eye and will always elongate the body. And who doesn’t want that?
I made this homemade Vegetable Orzo Soup last week and it was delicious! Thought I would share the link in case you are needing a good recipe. It’s perfect for this chilly weather. I’m really into Pinterest lately so I hope you are following me over there. I love finding great recipes and adding them to this board. Let me know if you have a favorite recipe by sharing the link in the comments below.
Thanks for stopping by today. Make it a great week! xoxo – Tanya
