3 days in NYC and incredible sale alerts. Empire State Building, Gramercy Park Hotel, New York City

Yep, I just got back from NYC again. I know I told you about my trip a couple a weeks ago (in this blog post) but I booked another shoot and decided to coordinate it with the kids. Check out what we did over 3 days in NYC!

My motto in life is never waste a good trip. Last time I took Pete with me and this time I coordinated with Taylor and P.J. While I was working, they explored the city. We all know there’s plenty to do in the Big Apple. Of course, I always list for you where we stay and eat so that you can enjoy them as well.

Hotel: Gramercy Park Hotel  You get to have access to the only private park in Manhattan – Gramercy Park. The doorman will let you into the park and you call him to let you out. Glorious! The hotel is beautiful and has two exceptional bars – the Rose Bar and Jade Bar. Only beautiful people work at this hotel. I’m not kidding. The gorgeous girl who checks you in used to be a model. Great neighborhood too.

Eat: Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bar, The Standard Grill and Scarpetta for some incredible Italian food. Thank you to everyone who always gives me suggestions on social media. I read every comment and take your advice. Oh and head to Momofuku Milk Bar in the East Village for delicious ice cream (see picture below).

Do: See a Broadway play/musical. Last time I saw Hello, Dolly! and this time we saw The Lion King. We also went to the top of the Empire State Building. And, of course, get out and explore the city.

Shop: Did you know that NYC has the only NBA store in the country? With Golden State just winning the NBA championship, of course we had to go. It’s P.J.’s favorite team!

NYC trip aside, I also wanted to tell you about the incredible GiGi New York SUMMER SALE that’s going on right now. Save up to 50% off of their beautiful leather bags. You don’t want to miss out on this incredible sale. All of our outfits and product details are linked below each picture.

Happy Monday!  xoxo – Tanya

The great thing about staying at the Gramercy Park Hotel is that they have bikes for you to use. My GiGi New York cross body bag was perfect for the city. Be sure to check out their 50% OFF SUMMER SALE! My M. Gemi shoes are SOLD OUT but I have linked similar ones in this color.

I travel with my Goyard bag (St. Louis GM) and this insert has saved my life. It gives you compartments for everything and will transfer to other tote bags. So good! Don’t want to spend that much on a tote bag? Consider the ones below from GiGi New York. Great tote bags at a fraction of the cost (all on SALE)!

The greatest job of all – MOM!

I got these new sunglasses a few weeks ago and haven’t managed to incorporate them into a shoot yet. So I am linking them for you before they sell out. They are so good and only $65. I think they look much more expensive than that. For reference, these are the black/fade to clear color. I’m linking some of my current favorites for you as well.

Taylor is the Ice Cream Queen of the family. We rode bikes to Momofuku Milk Bar in the East Village. Have you heard of it? OMG! The ice cream tastes like the milk in your cereal bowl. To die for! Beware, they make cookies and cakes too.

I got to work with the incredible comedian, writer and actress Kim Coles again. This is our second time to shoot for Chico’s. You can see the first video in this blog post (at the bottom of the post). I absolutely adore her! If she looks familiar it’s because she was on In Living Color and Living Single. She’s the real deal! Do me a favor and follow her on Facebook and check out her website. Oh, and stay tuned for the next video series to come out. You’ll find out why my hip and back have been hurting since I returned. Lordy…

Everything we have on is from Chico’s but won’t be available until August. I’ll be sure to link it then. The production team behind the Chic To Chic series is Full Picture and I can’t say enough great things about them. Huge shout out to Anne Walls, Heather Levine and David Sabshon as well as the entire crew. Professional and fun all at the same time. And I can’t forget Michelle Lerner and her Chico’s social media team. Top notch!

We were off to the Polo Bar for dinner and then to The Lion King on broadway. My dress is Misook and can be seen here. These nude shoes can be worn with anything. Taylor’s black block heels are here and I have linked a similar dress (hers is old). I just ordered P.J.’s pants and we got them in this dark sapphire color too.
